If Tommy finds himself being headhunted at the end of the season, I will be happy. Because it will have meant we would have had a decent end of season. If Tommy takes us to the Hallowed turf, everything about this season will be forgotten. If Theo plays in a Cup winning team, he will become a hero. And if any of that happens, we will struggle to hold on to the pair of them.

Never realised quite how low our expectations are as a football club.

Currently 16th in the league and 8th last season.

His cup record is very good.

But josh remember last season was deemed a success you know so far clear in the play offs with only 1 team that could catch us an ultimately did when we were points clear . If that's classed as success them were are going nowhere

Everyone to their own. Agreed you know what you have with Tommy. Is there better ?
His Achilles heel is his son.
His son is not good enough for the top non league. Go a couple down that's his level. He realised he made a massive mistake against Gateshead but instead of apologising feigned an injury to get of the limelight.
Fair play Dartmouth as someone said earlier it's all about opinions.

Given that we paid a fee for him, I would certainly expect us to have got better for our money and thus perhaps last season was a missed opportunity.
Remember Theo and O'Keeffe in midfield last season? It was an utter horror show. We can only function if he's partnered with someone who has the energy and nous to cover for his many shortcomings.

Your and others anti Theo campaign may well cost us our best manager and our very existence. But don’t worry carry on bitching

Certainly the best since Waddock. If those fans continue to trash TW we may end up with yet another dud.

Support Tommy and the Shots will progress upwards and onwards.

Quite a conundrum.

On the one hand we have a manager who seems to be obstinate, occasionally confrontational, and whose choice of players often seem to be based on a degree of favouritism rather than form or ability. Certain players seem to either be dropped or played out of position in order to accommodate others that appear to be less able. Substitutions often appear to be too late (from a fan's POV).

On the other hand we have a manager who appears to be willing to work within budget constraints and who appears to have generated additional income for the club through transfer dealings. Crowd attendance levels have increased, goals scored at the Rec average at more than 3.5 per game (including those scored by the opposition), and the team has delivered cup runs over the past two seasons.

We could go down the route of other clubs (Woking for instance) and change the manager two or three times per season, spend money that we don't have on players that ultimately don't deliver what is expected, and ultimately run up more debt.

On balance, whilst I have been frustrated by some of our performances and the seeming unwillingness to try different options, I fall into the "better the devil you know" camp. At least as long as we are above the immediate relegation positions (but I might change my mind if we lose tonight).
