Let's stop talking about the new ground and the signing of the lease for now, most of us on here think it is still some way off ever happening but if Shahid gets it over the line he'll go down in history forever.

Well work has started on removing the tennis courts behind the east bank .

Yes I did in the summer of 91, played tennis 🎾 with a MR Phil Canning who now lives in Australia 🇦🇺

Yes I did as a member of Manor Tennis Club for many years. The club ceased to being a fair few years back now unfortunately 😕

... as the person who surrendered a load of land without providing the club with new revenue streams? Last week's update included some welcome changes to the plans, but we really need facilities that offer 7-day income if the club is to move forward. I hope the chairman finds a way to include these.

I reckon on this forum at least 40 love this idea of making Tennis related jokes. It's not for me personally, although I wouldn't fault people for doing so.

just to let you know the tennis court is going to be extra parking spaces for the Woking game, the bush a fence to it will removed and shingle put down for cars to enter, after the game bush and fence will be put back .

Car parking will be one of the biggest problems if/when the proposed development takes place. In addition,new housing units will have to be provided with one space each .
