New Ground
Let's stop talking about the new ground and the signing of the lease for now, most of us on here think it is still some way off ever happening but if Shahid gets it over the line he'll go down in history forever.

... as the person who surrendered a load of land without providing the club with new revenue streams? Last week's update included some welcome changes to the plans, but we really need facilities that offer 7-day income if the club is to move forward. I hope the chairman finds a way to include these.Aldershot_Rob wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 5:42 pm Let's stop talking about the new ground and the signing of the lease for now, most of us on here think it is still some way off ever happening but if Shahid gets it over the line he'll go down in history forever.

I reckon on this forum at least 40 love this idea of making Tennis related jokes. It's not for me personally, although I wouldn't fault people for doing so.

just to let you know the tennis court is going to be extra parking spaces for the Woking game, the bush a fence to it will removed and shingle put down for cars to enter, after the game bush and fence will be put back .

Car parking will be one of the biggest problems if/when the proposed development takes place. In addition, new housing units will have to be provided with one space each .dougoftheshots wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 8:53 am just to let you know the tennis court is going to be extra parking spaces for the Woking game, the bush a fence to it will removed and shingle put down for cars to enter, after the game bush and fence will be put back .
