I suspect any parking built in would be for residents only

I don't think they are suggesting using the residential parking, I might be wrong but I think the suggestion of building flats rather than houses from scorp and WTF is that building vertically rather than horizontally would mean that the footprint could be left outside the current stadium perimeter which would mean we could retain the East Bank car park and the old "Black Bull" car park currently used for staff and storage/waste etc....

Please be kind enough to read the title of this thread before pursuing your own little agendas. Most of us are fully aware that there are so many hoops to jump through before it could proceed but the point of the thread is to accept this situation but still come up with CONSTRUCTIVE ideas that may help the process. Many fans have done this in an objective manner. Why can't you two?

Trouble is i think a lot of fans don't want it to happen just because of one stand but we have to move on, i remember 1955 when it was just terrace and no roof no singing no drums just a roar when we scored times change and no Dout the rec will again in the next few years.

You have lost me. I genuinely do not understand. If you accept that it is not going to happen. Why are you still posting constructive ground ideas? I have supported shots since 70s. . I have lost count of the amount of times ground was going to be redeveloped..

Hopefully Mr.Wood has found a “reasonable” structural engineer for this work, whatever it is. I’m puzzled why he should be involved though as Wates were supposed to be undertaking this work in their “agreement” with the club ?
Regarding the monthly lack of progress report, perhaps the directors are waiting to see if we will be a Football League club before pressing ahead with the demolition of the East Bank ?
Most supporters do not wish to see the East Bank demolished and a constructive suggestion from me is FORGET it and build flats at the rear and the front of the stadium instead.

Wates are not involved in the Stadium redevelopment, they are doing the housing in Redan Hill. Recalling the Fans Forum that we had last year when the plans were introduced we had too sets of presentation one from Wates and their architects regarding the housing and one from the clubs architects (stadium specialists) presenting the stadium designs.
