Interesting piece, I can never understand the resentment and jealousy towards Wrexham especially by some of our supporters on here and other social media outlets.Jason wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 9:57 am We were a rogue choice consideration.

If that had been us we would have been shouting from the rooftops even the anti Wrexham brigade amongst us.
Good Luck to them.

Can't be true the current board are the only people in the world that are interested in running the club.

I’m not actually anti Wrexham Sean but it annoys me when supporters of these clubs fail to acknowledge their good fortune and let’s face it they are effectively purchasing successSean Chambers wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 10:23 amInteresting piece, I can never understand the resentment and jealousy towards Wrexham especially by some of our supporters on here and other social media outlets.Jason wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 9:57 am We were a rogue choice consideration.

You have to buy to have success. Add in good management, clear vision and a decent transfer policy and you'll go a long way.
Good luck to Wrexham and their fans are enjoying an incredible ride.
Would have been incredible it was us but fortunately we have Azeem.

It’s good to know the Aldershot magic is recognised ouside the fanbase. It gives a degree of hope on several fronts.

Unfortunate would have been to have Dai Yongge.
Re: What could have been.
I just laugh at rhe notion of "millions of Wrexham fans worldwide" as if they are actually Wrexham fans.
They are Ryan Reynolds and Disney fans, who would never have heard of Wrexham if RR had bought Aldershot, Carlisle or anyone else.
They would be "supporting" whoever was picked and will disappear again as soon as RR does.
Other than that fair play to them. At least a traditional sleeping giant is enjoying some success rather than a bankrolled plaything like Salford

Fair comment, I suspect some of the old skool fans will appreciate what has happened them
Yes that argument will always come out about buying success but it still has to be done on the pitch.
I would mind us having that opportunity

Re: What could have been.
Will they though if Wrexham become a stable championship club they will retain a solid 10 to 12k fan base figures we can only dream of . Our highest lge gate in the 08 to 13 era was 5011 I believe . Wrexham.moved on to bigger things while we have fans who seem every week can't work a concept out of buying tickets .CH wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 1:34 pm I just laugh at rhe notion of "millions of Wrexham fans worldwide" as if they are actually Wrexham fans.
