The most ridiculous thing about this situation is that it will shrink into insignificance compared to the FGR's and Ebbsfleet's of this world

I wonder what the unfortunate Mr Hooper said? Presumably, it was a little more than negative comments about the quality of the burgers in Huish Park?

I've seen a couple of these today. I don't think it's anything too challenging, this Hooper man does some national league stats and not the angry type at all. I think the Yeovil owner is probably a bit thin skinned. There are various screenshots doing the rounds with him arguing with fans.

Kieran Maguire I just saw in another interview repeating the suggestion that the average NL club loses 700k a season. Also an interesting quote :

"Football is a bit of a silly business, you are having to pay wages 365 days a year, but you only have 25 or 30 days of money coming in"

Well, it's either "interesting" or "stupid" depending on your point of view.

There is nothing unusual about only having restricted times when money comes in ... pretty much any professional sport, wedding venues, hop picking, boat trips viewing the Severn Bore, Santa's Grotto, flogging Easter eggs,

It just reminded me of other comments here about needing alternative revenue streams given general direction of NL finances.
