Season Tickets
Why no mention of season tickets yet for next season, strike while the iron is hot.

Re: Season Tickets
I know Shahid (i think it was) mentioned about maybe changing the away end, so it could be a case of sorting that out, so they know where they can sell home season tickets?
Re: Season Tickets
Maybe the club is just allowing us to have our moment in the sun before reality for next season hits.

We know bad news is coming regarding ticket prices, so may be rather than burst everyone's bubble now, let the supporters enjoy this moment until next season's increase in prices has to be released.Like many clubs at this level, we're facing growing financial pressure. Costs continue to rise across the board - from player budgets and stadium maintenance to travel, hotel, energy, medical fees and security. To give just one example: the government increase in Employers National Insurance contributions from this month will add around £40,000 to our annual costs, putting further strain on an already stretched budget.
The club has been operating at an annual loss of between £300,000 and £400,000 for some time. During this period, Shahid, John Leppard and I have personally injected capital to cover the shortfall, and we remain fully committed to supporting the club as needed. However, for the club to move forward, we must start the process of realigning our income and expenditure. This will require some tough but necessary decisions - including an increase in ticket prices for next season. It's a crucial step to ensure continued investment in the first team and to keep our shared goal of a return to the EFL within reach.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy ****....What a ride!"
Re: Season Tickets
I suspect there are some financial forecasts being done taking into account the 200k hole, pitch repairs, increased running costs and playing budget for next season.
One thing for certain....it's going to cost (much) more this season than last.

Re: Season Tickets
I would have liked to have seen the club release season tickets a few weeks ago, to try and tap into the buzz and insterest around Wembley.
However, I think I read a post on here last week suggesting that due to the demand for merchandise prior to Wembley, they were trying to work through the equivalent of about 18 months worth of merchandise orders in the space of a couple of weeks.
I suspect all resources have been focused on meeting those deliveries.
Then the few days after Wembley have probably been mainly focused with media duties.
So long story short - I suspect the staff haven't had the resources available to be able to meet the initial demand from releasing season tickets - hence the delay
Hopefully they will announce something over the coming days. It would be nice if they can throw in some kind of special offer too to try and capitalise on the current "feel good" factor.

Re: Season Tickets
I'd love for the club to do something like Woking did several years back with £99 adult season tickets. Of course, I know that won't happen but I'd imagine you'd get a lot of people taking up that offer and it's money up front from people who'd potentially otherwise only go once or twice a season (mainly those people decided to go to Wembley for the day out).

Re: Season Tickets
These things must be planned well in advance surely? Like for different eventualities... I can't imagine the BOD wait for a season to finish and then all sit round and say right what shall we charge next season then?...
I can only assume the news on season tickets is not going to be positive, ie a fair increase and probably not great early bird offer...
Why would you not do everything to capitalise on this unique scenario we find ourselves in otherwise.
I can see the costs are rising but I struggle to understand how we can lose so much money last season when you consider we sold 4 players last season, increased average attendances by what 700?? plus the resulting increase in spend in the ground... Fa cup prize money and share of gate receipts.. etc...

Re: Season Tickets
I realise you'd lose a lot of money from the people who do go regularly so it's an unlikely scenario. But with matchday tickets increasing next season I think more people could be put off from attending. It's a shame but unless the team is fighting for promotion/playoffs then you probably won't get many floating people turning up and with our financial issues it doesn't seem like we will be in for anything other than a mid-table finish at best and hopefully a cup run.
Re: Season Tickets
I used to go to all the games home and away but these days I pick and choose games. I don't want to stump up money and potentially lose £21 if for some reason I can't go. So I choose to buy on the day but dislike the fact I end up having to effectively pay a £2 tax because I like to have a choice. Especially when (with the potential exception of Woking) there is no chance of any league fixtures being sold out or even over half full. I'd assume I'm not the only one who feels this way.

The dearer price should end and midnight on the Friday not 10am or whatever daft time it is on a ThursdayAldershot wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 7:54 pm I used to go to all the games home and away but these days I pick and choose games. I’m the same. I don’t always know if I’ll be free, so if I haven’t bought by Thursday I simply refuse to stump up the extra money. £23 for a game at our level is absolutely ridiculous.Aldershot wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 7:54 pm I used to go to all the games home and away but these days I pick and choose games. Re: Season Tickets
And there is the conundrum. We expect our Division 5 admission prices to be cheap, yet expect a winning team and great facilities. We are happy to buy a round of drinks in the pub for 4 people for £ 20 odd, happy to pay £ 20 odd per head for a curry in the local Indian. Happy to pay £ 15 to £ 20 for a cinema ticket or theatre seat. Not having a dig, but Premier League and League sides, whilst having larger overheads, get immense tv money. We know that currently the club is losing £ 300k to £ 400k per annum just to stand still. Times are hard for so many, but we have to understand the pure economics of basically surviving on a 2.5k gate every two weeks with little other income streams available.NTR_12 wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 9:34 pmI’m the same. It's good to see some clubs realising that it's a better idea to get fans in to the ground and try to build a support that's connected to the club by making tickets more reasonably priced and focus on make money in other ways (such as at the bar) once you have them inside. Uxbridge are a perfect example of this. They have just won promotion to the Isthmian League Premier and have announced season tickets will be available to adults for just £50.
https://www.uxbridgefc.com/post/season- ... es-2025-26
I just wanted to confirm for all our current and potential supporters, irrespective of which League we are assigned, our Season Ticket prices for 2025-2026 will remain unchanged.
We have tried to set ourselves apart as a Club with the ethos and belief that football should be affordable for all and within that, we can only be truly judged by our deeds and actions.
Our promotion to Step 3, for the first time in the 154 year history of the Club, will undoubtedly bring added financial pressures, which we must embrace and accept.
However, we will continue to do everything possible to ensure that the burden of those increased costs are not borne by the most important people at Uxbridge Football Club, our supporters and the wider community who call Honeycroft a home.
Is it sustainable? That can't and won't truly be answered until we see the result of our commitment, including if we can attract significant additional numbers to join the Red Army every week on the terraces.
Irrespective of this, we are already committed to and have begun further redevelopments at Honeycroft during the off season, with the sole intention of improving the supporter experience.
We absolutely believe in what we are trying to do and be as a Club. What is the price to be paid for that.....
Season Tickets 2025 2026
£50 Adult
£5 Concession
Our hope is this message will be heard far and wide and we can continue to grow and progress as a Football Club doing things differently but doing it right.

Also Bracknell Town are offering FREE season tickets for the 2025/2026 season providing fans make a donation to the local foodbank.

Re: Season Tickets
Not trying to knock Bracknell, I'm a big advocate of relatively cheap admission for your level and a good experience / offerings to capture secondary expenditure over high admission prices, but there's specific circumstances behind that offer. There's been a change in who runs the club and it's a big statement to fans / locals that the old mob are back and things are changing. It's almost certainly a one off and not a business model.
Good luck to them though. Haringey Borough have also done similar in recent seasons. They did repeat the offer but I don't think they have announced what they are doing next season. Having been relegated twice in two seasons they may even drop season tickets given their new level.
Incidentally Uxbridge apologised for putting prices up to a tenner for the play offs. Competition rules meant they couldn't charge less.
