Saturday’s game now sold out
Re: Saturday’s game now sold out
Despite not having huge crowds, The Shots actually have the 8th largest average home attendance in the league, one place above Woking (forever in our shadow).

23 games is an expensive slog for a casual punter. Compare that to a one-off local derby with the prize of a Wembley performance and you can see what appeals more.Aldershot wrote: ↑Wed Apr 02, 2025 7:00 amHow do you work that one out?Martin Patfield wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 7:16 pmFor many years, I've always wished people put the same effort into league games as they do these cups.
Would transform our fortunes.

We've stopped doing that now.
You can hardly deride yellow balloons when a large section of your fanbase have a lifelong commitment to sewing

Just seen why you referenced balloons. A bit tinpot to be fair
Let's hope it doesn't happen. And let's hope those from both sides who think fireworks are ok have a word with themselves. We're not too far away from someone getting hurt by these

You lot aren't going to be happy with the scaffolding contraption that will be impeding your views from the Eastbank...Kingfield Ender wrote: ↑Wed Apr 02, 2025 11:14 am Just seen why you referenced balloons. A bit tinpot to be fair

You're all sounding incredibly confident ahead of saturday
In theory with everyone we have out or cup tied it should be a fairly simple 3-0 stroll for you, however.............

Always good to have Kingfield Ender around. Wonder if you're seeing what suits a helpful narrative for you because many of us will be feeling apprehensive about Saturday based on history and experience. Though unquestionably feeling more postive to have taken care now of the relegation threat, there's been no over-confidence on these pages all season, I promise you! It may be covered elsewhere (and on Cardsboard) but who is missing for you on Saturday, and what does the objective analyst in you predict is the likeliest outcome?
