We haven't played with a large target man all season so I hope this doesn't disrupt our playing system too much.
Will he replace Barham or come off the bench to hopefully cause havoc on tiring defenders. Or will we now play with two strikers and change our methodology!

I feel Thomas will replace Corbett on the bench as he offers something very different to Corbett.

yeah. Corbett couldn't impact National League games. Maybe he just needs another season at the level though. But this is a signing half of us have been wanting for months, either to take the pressure off Barham or to support him. I'm assuming a late option as you can only play 3 of Barham, Henry, Jones and Barrett if they're all playing centrally as it is.

Also gives us the opportunity to rest somebody on Tuesday v Fylde, if that's what TW is planning to do
and Richard Walden puts the Shots 1-0 up against Man Utd

Welcome back Kwame, could make the difference and was very good for us last season even though it was mainly as a sub .Brave player who also defends corners well and can score key goals

I'd beg to differ. We play them again soon, so of course it'll be of interest.

He certainly offers something different and dare I say, better than what we've got on the bench already.
Hope he can make an impact.

I hope for your sakes that coming back to you rekindles his enthusiasm as he certainly rarely showed it at Ebbsfleet. Earned the nickname, ",The Lamp post" due to his unwillingness to move very far/ chase the ball. Rarely managed to hold the ball up or win headers either. We reckon ,based on the description you all give, that we must have signed his twin brother as we never saw any of the attributes you give him . 3 goals in 35 games tells the story (& 1 of those was a penalty). Admittedly he rarely played 90 minutes but we were all glad he won't be playing for us again.

Good to have Kwame back.

His departure was a bit of an odd one, in his pre-season interview Tommy talked about an injury being detected after he was offered a contract and this making everything a bit complicated.

Having a new signing who already knows the manager and quite a few of the players should be a bonus as he should be able to fit in much more quickly than if we’d signed someone like Nouble.

Clearly Tommy Widdrington is serious about reaching the playoffs and Wembley and sees him as a sub to come off the bench when the going gets rough, as it will do.

Happy days,get behind Tommy.

He said as much in his pre-match interview for tomorrow’s match.

I hope Kwame coming back isn't at the expense of maxwell Mullins, I think he's been quite a good impact sub.
