I think that second half was the best 45 minutes the Shots have produced this season. All the more creditable after conceding an early goal and with such a big injury list - some of our squad have had an awful lot of games recently. So credit to the Management for recruiting a larger squad this season. The win tonight might mean TW can rotate the squad at Rochdale.
I don't think Wealdstone were poor - Aldershot made them look average. The Stones have been on a good run themselves and have some useful players in their squad - including 5 loanees from bigger clubs.![]()

Lineker started that nonsense around the time the premier league began

That result was probably on par with Oldham away, if not better. The team have had a fair share of criticism over the last few months, but tonight they take the plaudits for a great second half performance.
I’ve just had a look at the league table, back in middle of February we were 6th from bottom & 1 point above the relegation zone. By the end of February we were 3pts from the drop zone.
Tommy & the team have done brilliantly to turn it around to avoid going down It’s nice to know that we can see out the season with no worries.well done everyone

An inspired substitution by Tommy replacing Levi Laing with James Henry, thus strengthening our midfield and posing more problems for The Stones with our attacking abilities also relying on the majestic Will Armitage and Luca Woodhouse at the back.
A superb 2nd half performance with 3 quality goals and nullifying Wealdstone's slick passing game of the first half.
And a neutral goal difference to boot.
Super Aldershot of The South! SATS!

Saw the game and first half Wealdstone edged it but then came second half masterful Managerial decisions by Tommy with Henry making immediate impact. I also liked the way Tommy made the other late substitutions which took the edge out of the game later on and killed the game as a contest. We were superb second half and 3:1 flattered Stones. Hats off to the defence which played superbly and Josh scored another fab goal.

I think he should have made a couple of changes.
That time will tell.
See you at 9:45
So confused about this squad

Just seen the goals. Henry’s second together with Barrett’s were really top drawer finishes - two pieces of real class.

Great result. I did the team a disservice by expecting a desperate Wealdstone to want it more than us, but what do I know. Well done all.

A great result and a great run we are on credit to the management team and players as I thought we were down in February.
Again I’ll say it again with more mobility in midfield we are defending a bit better but also think has improved our attacking play.
Armitage and woodhouse have been fantastic at the back in recent weeks - interesting to see if possible to sign permanently in summer.
Pleased for Henry - he looked rusty on Saturday but could be like a new signing if he hits top form in the run in!
Those saying play offs - I don’t see it myself. I think the trophy will be a distraction and I think we would need to win 6 of last 8 games to make it.
70 points used to be the magic number for play offs and avoiding relegation was 50 points - shows how close the league is as I think 68 points for play offs and 54 to avoid relegation!

few things:
not news but it probably does go down as another data point in the "winning without Theo" file.
Tommy gets a lot of flak but I don't know too many managers who'd have been prepared to entrust the entire defence to teenagers when staring at the relegation places. That's been a massive change
Equally, I think most people were surprised when he sent Keane Anderson out again today. He was rewarded with a really classy performance that showed off Keane's passing and an ability to shoot and tackle
This is championship form and it's happening with a massive injury list - he deserves a lot of credit for that too
A few of us didn't think the team was as bad as the table suggested and I'm sure it's reasonable to argue that it's not as good as recent form suggests, but just as the manager took a lot of grief when we weren't getting over the line, he deserves credit now.

We now have as many wins as losses in the League - what a turnaround.

Agree. He’s performing very well. I didn’t say I’d drop him…

sorry, not trying to put words in your mouth. Maybe they go with the approach they ended the match with then, with Ryan on the left, Frost on the right, and AJ in the back three. That'd be how you get Henry back into the side. Whether they fear that this'd upset the balance too much I don't know but it's been good when we've been chasing goals the last two games.
