I wonder whether we might see JVS in goal for this one. Got a feeling.

is this all on the back of Marcus letting all three shots he faced in on Saturday?
Re: Wealdstone v Aldershot Town - Tuesday 25th March 2025 (MatchNight Thread)
I think it's a bit of that but also the coded messages in TW's post match interviews about players being 'lauded'. I also found it odd that Marcus was put in the Hampshire Cup team - not sure what that was all about. So, just an instinct.Silasgoldeen wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 9:46 am is this all on the back of Marcus letting all three shots he faced in on Saturday?
I think it's a given that Theo will be playing.

ah, yes, that's true. Thing is, letting all the shots go in is usually Jordi's speciality so I'm not sure there's a case for a change. But I can see what you mean and if he feels like Marcus is getting a bit too comfortable then maybe he'll make that switch.Mytshot wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 9:52 amI think it's a bit of that but also the coded messages in TW's post match interviews about players being 'lauded'. It could be that maybe he will send a message as Saturday did have slight complacent vibes. There aren't many fit players though so he can only change so much.
I agree, he will have seen more than enough on Saturday to bring Theo back into the XI. He made a point of saying "Manny Maja ruled himself out" and pointed out that he's only played one game this season. Manny seems like a decent player but reading between the lines, perhaps Tommy doesn't feel that the drive is quite there. In Maja's shoes you'd 100% try to play through anything to get some games wouldn't you? We don't know how injured he is but he is coming across as being quite tentative with hit own fitness. Anderson has had his moments but looked a bit at sea at the weekend.
I can't really think of anything else. Barham never stops running, Ryan Jones has found his form again, and you'd never question Frost or AJ's effort. Barrett's the star player so he plays if he can. There aren't any fit defenders. So maybe Dewhurst is the only one he could switch.

Interesting one about Ryan Jones as I don't think he ever really lost his form. He was just dropped following a run of being our best player.Silasgoldeen wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 10:03 amah, yes, that's true. I think it's just down to changing role. Tommy started playing Tyler Frost at left wing back and moved Ryan Jones infield, and a good number of people were talking about how this wasn't getting the best out of Ryan, who had been up to that point our best player this season down the left. But in recent games he's really been playing very well through the middle.beechcroft wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 10:28 amAgree, never lost his form, not sure why anyone thinks he hadMytshot wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 10:24 amInteresting one about Ryan Jones as I don't think he ever really lost his form. Can't believe that we would even consider rocking the boat at this moment in time by dropping Dewhurst again .....

and Richard Walden puts the Shots 1-0 up against Man Utd
Re: Wealdstone v Aldershot Town - Tuesday 25th March 2025 (MatchNight Thread)
Tonight is all about which team wants it most. Wealdstone are a bit more desperate than us, which may well tip the balance. My confidence in our back 3 foundered on the Ebbsfleet rocks on Saturday. 2-1 ‘Stones.

Travesty if Jordi and Theo start!
Dewhurst couldn’t do too much about any of the goals on Saturday, IMO.
