Heard someone say yesterday that we cannot water the pitch as the sprinklers leak after they’ve been on meaning puddles build up around the sprinkler areas, if true a shame as a bit of water on before the start would have helped our side trying to play football.

Agree with most comments, after recent successes and upcoming semi-final I thought there was a buzz around the ground. I thought it was the sort of game where we might have a player sent off or concede a penalty (i.e. a "banana skin"). I do not understand out inconsistency ? Just a couple of observations, as "Alex" said above towards the end of the game "T" lost the ball and certainly infringed the Ebbsfleet player (the ref was not that far away) just outside the penalty area in a very opportune position, I shuddered expecting a free kick to be awarded fortunately play moved on. Also from the East Bank I was directly inline with the Ebbsfleet free kick and had a clear view of the gap between the end of our three man wall and the goal post which is where the Ebbsfleet player placed the ball. So over all a bit disappointing but Ebbsfleet probably deserved at least a point and one point for us is better than none.

So many of Theos passes are one-touch back to the player who passed it to him. If you watch for it, it's ridiculously common and adds nothing to any build up play.

Think he got a head injury Tuesday

Tommy's interview with Sam suggested that Ellison 'withdrew himself' on Saturday morning so I'm guessing it might be illness?
