Marcus ex W.Midlands Shot wrote: Sun Mar 23, 2025 2:02 pm It's the principle of the thing.

Every manager has favourites although sometimes these are players who set a good example e.g. Jordan Henderson, who has now persuaded a fifth England manager to pick him because of his good attitude.

The difference is the suspicion. There are people on here, who I know personally and can confirm they are entirely sane, who think that Theo's injury two weeks ago was faked and that Tommy deliberately engineers situations to justify Theo being included in the starting line-up. No-one fully trusts our manager when it comes to his son. It's a horrible atmosphere but NOT caused by the fans, caused by Tommy.
Sorry according to Tommy Theo was lucky not to have had a break . Yet a week later playing golf . They both think we the fans are stupid. Let's hope Tommy gets an offer and they are gone in the summer . His comment yesterday about being in the side on merit is feckin laughable.
No not correct, they know the fans are stupid

Josh wrote: Sun Mar 23, 2025 2:15 pm It's quite simple for me: he's a National League South player. No other manager has signed him and wouldn't surprise me if he has divided the dressing room.

Players have been played out of position to accommodate him and he certainly finds it easier to get back into the team than say Johnny Stuttle.

He probably will start against Woking but with one goal for us so far, I wouldn't be banking on him to score the winner.

Marvin Morgan was transfer listed for his outburst but obviously the club feel he did nothing wrong two weeks ago.

Miraculous recovery but this blatant nepotism is quite frankly disgusting.

Spot on Josh 👍

The Chairman should have intervened and made a statement on behalf of the Club and then dealt with Widds Jr from the Board level
The chairman only spks when we are doing well .

Bit like saying if Peter sutcliffe didn’t kill 13 women he’d be a friendly bloke, very strange post

Just gone online to find yet another thread about Jnr.
Surely this topic is exhausted, anyone with an opinion will have aired it by now ( several times).
And don’t tell me I haven’t got to read it…that’s not the point, surely..
Come on, people.

The strange thing is, from what I remember, we actually paid a fee for him as well!
I think was partly to placate the KL Chairman and avoid legal proceedings, just my theory though.

As long as the situation endures the conversation will continue. If the only counter argument is telling the doubters to shut up then that only really strengthens their case.

Only time will tell whether the 250k fee was well spent. :D

Maybe there's a commercial opportunity here whereby fans can sponsor Theos tee-time every Saturday lunchtime. The way I see it, everybody wins.

All got our own views on Theo including myself, especially after what happened with him during the Gateshead game.
But got no problem with him Saturday, he came on didn't fanny about with the ball to much, got it moving and improved the game and did what he needed to do for 20 mintues.
That's all I ask from him just to keep his head down and do his job, then most people would probably keep off his back if he just got on with it and just perform anything like he did the first 6 or so games at the start of the season.
Maybe coming on for the last quater is better for him and not 90 mins.
Don't know if it's the case but my only concern I have is that I wouldn't be to happy if Maja got dropped out of the squad for Theo to come back in.
