STICKY : Boom Boom Mk2 (The laughs continue)

Post by Richard Petty »

Welcome to the new Boom Boom thread.

A massive thank you to bordon shot for starting the original one on 23rd march 2020 when the first lockdown commenced it reached 300 pages, had 4,495 posts and was viewed 746,817 times. It was a thread that kept us amused through some the most difficult times and was always a pleasure to read and I am sure gave many of us great jokes to share with family and friends.

We all know that due to software issues it was suspected of causing Shotsweb to slow down so the original thread had to be locked, with the Shotsweb administrators support I am starting a new one which I hope will continue to be as well supported as the original one.

It seems appropriate to start it off with the very first joke that bordon shot posted and also the one he has just posted on another thread this morning

Leo, Boris, Trump, Pope Francis & Mary a ten year old Irish girl were on a flight with just 4 parachutes . As the plane went down they were short one parachute, they agreed Leo should go first when he said ‘I need to sort out the corona virus in Ireland,I need one ‘ & off he went, Boris was next and said ‘Im the smartest man in England, I simply cannot die, I have to survive’, and out he jumped with a parachute, next was Trump and he said ‘I’m need to keep America great and sort out this corona virus’ and out he jumped.. one parachute left, Pope Francis said , little Mary you take it, I have lived a good life, you are young with your whole life ahead of you... take it. Mary replied.. it’s ok Francis, there’s two parachutes left, the smartest man in England took my school bag!!

I always think it is impolite to ask a woman’s age. I generally ask how much she weighs instead….

I recently ate a Star Wars figurine. It was a little chewy.

I don’t like planning my day. “Premeditated” is such a powerful term in court….

I just saw a partridge, a grouse and a pheasant dressed as clowns.

I thought ‘They’re game for a laugh…’

I decided to trace my pet frogs ancestry...

Turns out he's part Irish, part British, and a tad Pole!

Bought my girlfriend a fur coat made out of 3600 hamster skins and took her to Blackpool...

I couldn't get her off the big wheel for days!

My daughter thinks I don't give her enough privacy. At least that's what she wrote in her diary.
