Rec Pitch

Yeovil management and Aldershot players extremely unhappy with the pitch today.
Hope the issues can be resolved in the close season.

Pitch is dreadful and surprising the club are allowing local games on it all the way through May.

Frost shanked his chance after a bobble and Amrotage had one in the first half where the ball was popping everywhere. Wembley will feel like a carpet.

One of our players said to the slab in the 1st half that it was like playing on a Sunday league pitch

They’d be right. I’m not sure how it’s possible for a professional football club to have a worse playing surface than the local council pitches.

League season over now. Let’s use this time to sort out the issue.

Pitch has been a problem for months, it looked better than it has been albeit very over grown. No player or manager would want it like that so Either it needed to be grown out or we’ve decided not to pay for ground keeping.

I think it might be the latter. Reading Deane Wood’s programme notes, it’s clear we are well and truly skint.

When will some of you learn/understand?

Most clubs at our level are skint!
