Re: Rec Pitch
Pitch is dreadful and surprising the club are allowing local games on it all the way through May.

Re: Rec Pitch
Frost shanked his chance after a bobble and Amrotage had one in the first half where the ball was popping everywhere. Wembley will feel like a carpet.

One of our players said to the slab in the 1st half that it was like playing on a Sunday league pitch
Re: Rec Pitch
They’d be right. I’m not sure how it’s possible for a professional football club to have a worse playing surface than the local council pitches.Mytchett shot wrote: ↑Mon May 05, 2025 5:40 pm One of our players said to the slab in the 1st half that it was like playing on a Sunday league pitch

Re: Rec Pitch
Pitch has been a problem for months, it looked better than it has been albeit very over grown. No player or manager would want it like that so Either it needed to be grown out or we’ve decided not to pay for ground keeping.
Re: Rec Pitch
I think it might be the latter. Reading Deane Wood’s programme notes, it’s clear we are well and truly skint.aldershot-jg wrote: ↑Mon May 05, 2025 6:34 pm Pitch has been a problem for months, it looked better than it has been albeit very over grown.
