Kai Corbett
I have been firmly on the anti-Kai Corbett bandwagon
But he turned me with that excellent hat trick v Chertsey
I was hoping that may be the spark for him to get in the side or at least make more impact on the bench.
Didn't even make the bench Saturday
Is he injured?
Or just not in the managers plans?

Re: Kai Corbett
I think he likes to play behind the front two and is therefore stuck behind Barrett and Henry. And Mullins.
Re: Kai Corbett
Dear Mr. Widdrington
Are we to play forever without a CF?…some nasty big lump to hold the ball up for our 2 no. 10’s? Perhaps one is on his way as I write….
Yours, in hope….

With Stuttle now gone it must be time to give Kai a real chance to prove himself.

Re: Kai Corbett
It should be noted that Chertsey literally gave up when the fifth goal went in. Don’t know what was going on but some of their players weren’t even running. Was quite bizarre. I could’ve bagged a couple against them.Mick Earls Fan Club wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 4:56 pm I have been firmly on the anti-Kai Corbett bandwagon

I agree Mytshot, while it was great to see Kai scoring and celebrating, the Chertsey defenders were like traffic cones after 80 mins.

Re: Kai Corbett
Come on, they were 5-0 down to a much better team, all they wanted was the final whistle and run down the tunnel!

Not good enough for our level only here so it looks like we didnt waste the money
we spent on him.
we spent on him.
Re: Kai Corbett
I'm pretty certain Kai was only signed for a year.
Could never understand why only on a one year contract when we paid a fee for him.

We had one in Kwame. For me he gave Aldershot experience and another option...a plan B if you like

Re: Kai Corbett
I am still expecting Kai to make it with us but he is not a centre forward and needs to toughen up. There is definitely a good player in there and people do not appreciate the runs he makes to create space and openings for others.
Perseverance and patience is needed. Only my view but I believe in the player.
