Wealdstone 1-3 Aldershot Town - Tuesday 25th March 2025 (MatchNight Thread)
Re: Wealdstone v Aldershot Town - Tuesday 25th March 2025 (MatchNight Thread)
We’ve scored more goals than 4 of the top 7 this season. If only we started the season with a better defence, this season would’ve looked a lot different.

Great game from Keano, best game for him in a Shots shirt and great for him after all the effort he has put in and coming back from his injury.

Also it's not a zero sum game. If you score loads you do tend to let some in too. But somehow they've managed to find a balance, probably because Woodhouse and Armitage are even better than we think. Defenders playing this well in an attacking side is amazing.

I've noticed that when Maghoma played in between those two, he was praised, and when Ellison played in between them, he was praised. I think they make it easy to play the central position of the three - the one whose main job is to attack the ball - with very good positional awareness.Silasgoldeen wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 9:34 pm Also it's not a zero sum game. For a while now. I keep half expecting a motm but usually goes to attacking players.

Good comeback for the Shots. Rochdale on Saturday is winnable and could put us in the mix.
