Pre match interview
More absolute nonsense, and having digs at supporters who don’t agree with him!

Ironically 12 years ago at Roots Hall we had a conversation about Holdsworth being sacked after the game only for us to go and win 2-1 and the BOD deciding to give him more time. Sonny Bradley got the winner just before full time. We actually played well on the night.

You shouldn't sack a manager after one game but after a decline covering a period of time. We sacked him too late ( 34 off 33 ) and Scott got 14 off 13.

No point sacking TW now but he needs to accept we are in a relegation battle.
It's absolutely worth it....The players are too comfortable with TW.
It needs someone to come in and tell them they are playing for their contracts next season.
Most probably know they'll get a new deal under Widdrington
Fully agree with you sir.
Tommy IS a dead man walking with his job. He has been told he has to win something. The Hampshire cup is now mega important.
These cups mean nothing without the league football we play with now. It will mean the destruction of ATFC. The MOD will suddenly sort the entrances out and certain people will cash in. . Still only my opinion.

Blinkered and stubborn. As RBA said above, he's now essentially a dead man walking. For me, it's now up to the players to gather themselves and do their best to dig us out of this hole.

Couldn't have said much different on the pre Southend interview, as TW said mundame questions, so interviewer ramp it up.

That was blatantly not serious, just a dig at the supporters who have been saying the questions and interviews are rubbish!

The pre and post match interviews have become a real snooze fest, ok the top end of the pitch was poor on Saturday so change it for tonight then.Start Corbett and maybe let him have a run of games rather than just bringing him on here and there. He made tne difference in the FA Trophy gave v Boreham Wood when he came on, so he earned the right to start in the next game and not just come on because Henry was injured.

I thought that. They are clearly reading here/other social media channels and referencing what people are saying on them.

I think that was TW’s way of supporting the interviewer. Maybe trying to create an ‘us against the world’ mentality?

Lose tonight he’s got to go.

The writing has been on the wall for a while now

The stubbornness, arrogance and disrespect he’s shown to supporters isn’t acceptable.

And who's going to pay for that.

Andy Scott was 6 points off a relegation place on the 21st January 2015 when sacked. We had no material improvement and 138k wasted on his and Terrys dismissal. The amount of money paying off managers and employees has been rediculous.

This is why you shouldn’t give managers big extensions in non league unless there’s a clause. Relegation would lose us far more money in the long term and under TW I see us getting relegated due to his unwillingness to change tactics. The form does not lie and it’s been like that for a year!

He knows he’s under pressure that’s why he’s holding onto these cup competitions.

The reason there was no improvement after him was because we appointed an inexperienced manager with no contacts down here. He may be good in Scotland but it’s a completely different ball game.

Go get Matt Grey someone who has won something with a small budget. He’s available and wants to get back into management.

An interesting if not frightening figure. I have rhetorically said to my fellow volunteers up at footy that I wonder how much the club has had to fork out over the last decade when dismissing managers and any assistants. Then, depending on the ‘mutual settlement’, the increase in managers wages over the rest of a time we’re honouring the previous managers contract. You just hope that these contracts had ‘notice clauses’ in them.

If the heat gets turned up on Azeem then TW will go.

Whilst I disagree with a lot of what TW does, we are often in this position with every manager struggling under the present ownership.

What gives me hope is that the chairman said that he wants us in the Football League, playing in a new stadium and being sustainably run. Who am I to disbelieve him.

Then we go down ,smaller budget ,small gates as there is no way the BOD would create a serious challenge in the NLS,less chance of decent cup runs . Still wouldn't be able to get rid of TW unless he walked . One thing to come of it Theo would still look poor in NLS south yet still play .
