Took my 3-year-old to the bus tour (too young for Wembley) and he’s been talking about the bus, really shiny trophy and how loud it was - in a good way - all morning.

It was bedtime by the time the bus returned but looks like the stuff inside the ground was fun. Just hope we let those who couldn’t attend have the chance to see the trophy up close and lift it.

Maybe a stall at Victoria Day?

I've been watching a lot of the videos from yesterday evening and they look fantastic, what a turnout.
I really hope we can harness some of this "feel good" factor and attract some more regulars next season.
it might also help attract some players.
A great way to end the season, well done to everyone, I'm already looking forward to next season.

We all know the old Town has its problems but how good did it look last night with red and blue everywhere. Well done to all that turned out last night at such short notice keeping the feel good factor going on from Sunday. Pleased the route passed through North Town as well where the team were greeted by so many.

It was an unbelievable turnout, I've never seen anything like it in the town.

You'd imagine the club will put Season Tickets on sale this week to capitalise on the feel good factor that seems to be at fever pitch right now.

Loads of guy's at my workplace here in Copenhagen congratulating me today, a few watched the stream and have been following things on FB, one of them even made a flag for me, thanks *Shots.

Lets hope that it dawns on the council how big a pulling power the club is to the Town (lets be honest; there's nothing else at present that brings people To Aldershot other than the magistrates court) and helps with the redevelopment /gets things over the line .The Town could perhaps capture some of its old presteige with a lot of punters coming in for the football at least once a fortnight and what they'd spend in Town. A good redeveloped stadium would further underline the potential-and with it-the ambitions the club can have. A lot would buy into/come for that like they did on Sunday. It would be tragic if this ended up another missed opportunity.

We absolutely did Alex and we made memories that will last a lifetime, what a shame you couldn't join the thousands that saw something very special, an evening where we experienced a whole community coming together 🫢

Without getting too political (and local is vastly different to national), we now finally have a proactive MP so I’m sure she’ll be on it. Worth contacting her with any idea/a replication of this message though - no harm in that.
