Alex wrote: Thu Nov 28, 2024 9:13 am Nobody can moan about his effort and work rate, 100% commitment. But I could never work out what type or style of player he was trying to be. And too often there was no end product.

Good luck to the lad.
Alex, maybe he was a far better player than we can take in at Aldershots level. He was a footballer, great brain and as others have said great commitment.
He even chose who he did over us....why ? ....ambition that's why.
On a number of occasions, Ryan definitely wasn’t committed when I watched him. It struck me that he was marking the space but not the player. He had the habit of pointing to a player that he was supposed to be marking on set pieces but not moving with that player. It seemed that he wanted to be involved offensively but was not interested in the other side of the game.
I wasn’t unhappy that he moved on frankly.
Harsh. He was probably pointing to a player he should be marking because he was busy picking up a player that Theo should be marking.

Several occasional Shots watchers thought the same as me. One of them was near incandescent with rage at how Glover wouldn’t tackle or properly defend. No he wasn’t picking up anyone else, he was hiding.
Anyway, not our player and not an issue for me or our manager anymore.

Thank you!
Well done Tommy - and Worthing, a club whose chairman wants the club in the National League, for starters. Worthing's population is around 112,000 -larger by several thousand than Woking.
Is the chairman still the young disabled guy scrop?
Yes, lbs.
Never say never - unless!
