Weston-super-Mare are just 4 points outside the final play off place. WsM to go up via the play offs with Truro up as champions would be my choice. That said, WsM are a bit out of form.

Good away win today though and now just two points off a play off place. Luke Coulson hatrick today…..there’s a player who could potentially step up to NL level.

He’s been there, done it, and not what we need, IMO.

Maybe not for us although if Kwame Thomas is thought to be good enough………

I’ve seen him play live 4 times this season and think he could still do a job with the right club at our level.

I got to know him a little when he was manager at Runcorn Linnets and he's a decent fella.
The Albion Inn, underneath the city walls Chester. Simply the finest.

Completely agree Steve/Howard, Chester is a wonderful city and hope they get promotion, even though I'm scared still by the 8-2 loss

Hmm ... is this the usual Alex put down of players who are actually quite handy?

Luke has impressed me whenever I've seen him play. I can't see any reason whatsoever why he would not do a more than decent job for us.

In terms of quality, I would rate him about on a par with our own Jack Barham, albeit Luke is that bit older and nearer the end of his playing days.

For some reason, Alex also seems to have it in for Wealdstone's Jack Cook, who is (in my estimation) rather better than one or two of our current regulars/favourites (mentioning no names). Jack is a bit of a yellow carding waiting to happen, but that's a different matter.

Worthing and Torquay would be my choice. Truro, Maidstone, Dorking and Eastbourne are fine but definitely not Boreham Wood.

Torquay and Truro please. Never, ever want to go to Boreham Wood again ...

From the NLN, Chester would be an excellent addition. Beautiful city, and I second the recommendation (above) for the The Albion. Absolutely first-rate pub! And maybe Brackley ... since it's not actually oop north ...
