Let's hope the next 16 are better than the last 16 then
Indeed, we got 13 points from our last 16 games, repeat that and we’re doomed. In that 16 we’ve got Wealdstone, Maidenhead and Fylde, we’ve got to win all three of those to stand any chance.
Maidenhead & Fylde are more than capable of going on a run of good results (as Maidenhead’s win last night proved) so it’s between us & Wealdstone is how I see it.
:D In my humble opinion..Just saying

how long is TW contract. If its to the end of the year you can see why he is not bothered. He will just be on his way. Good riddance.

Quite a few others couldn’t even do that tonight and gave the ball away cheaply. I just don’t get this constant same old stuff being said about the Geezer.
The same points are made every game about him, yes he shouldn’t be in the side. Others could take but banging on about it every game I fail to see what it achieves.
It's because he only gets picked because he's his son.

Contrast that with Johnny Stuttle.

The blatant nepotism stinks.
Got booked last night for arguing a yellow card for Theo. Certainly not the first time that's happened this season either.

It’s pathetic frankly, happen far too often and shows a real lack of leadership. Just one of a number of petulant behaviours displayed along with the criticism of fans in interviews and often childish sniping on social media. Shows a distinct lack of professionalism in my opinion.

It's just unbelievable, what on earth is happening to our club from top to bottom?

The TW Jnr issue has had too much energy wasted on it, TW Snr isn’t going to change his mind on the issue so it’s pointless continually banging on about it.

Far more important things around the club to concern ourselves about than one individual player.
Yes the lack of minutes for Stuttle was bewildering to say the least, I thought he looked decent in the time he was on the park and was what we needed up top.
We can do nothing and meekly accept the blatant nepotism or we can let the manager know we're not happy.
Just a starting line up without all of JVS, Maghoma and TW is all I ask.

TW is right on one thing, the 196 who went tonight saw the players put in a serious shift.

We played a team tonight who I believed just shaded it and who have a budget at least twice ours so maybe some perspective is needed.

Hartlepool on Saturday will be very edgy on and off the field. But the fans will still turn up in their numbers UTS
Brian, I think many are getting carried away with how we played at 2-0 down...Before that we weren't great, we had a brief spell at 1-0 down before they scored their second.
They were 10th in the league so hardly hardly a team that we should be considering as a great side and one we should be thinking how fantastic it is that we only lost 1-0.
Once again Widdrington tried to silence some comments by saying "If you weren't there you can't have an opinion" I'm not sure he realised that it was available to stream and at this stage of the season and in our position the results are more important than the performances.
Agree Steve, the first 30 mins our defence was being battered they also missed a sitter just before half time.

I did take in the Maidenhead v Southend game a couple of weeks ago (the day snow stopped play at the Rec!) and Southend weren't particularly good and lost to a P/T Maidenhead side that was weakened with key players missing. So despite their budget-from what I've seen and whats been reported-this was a winnable game-a point at least.
The late k/o due to Shots players being stuck in traffic  to me this highlights the total lack of discipline from the club and TW that also spreads into the team-stupid pointless bookings and sendings off. Sorry, but any serious boss of a serious club doesn't allow players to turn up when they like in their cars-you travel as a team -its a gelling time as well-and you focus entirely on the game to come.
From Steve Claridges book, Len Walker didn't fuss when players (SC) turned up late to get on (YES!!) the team coach to travel to games, but then players weren't getting played, the club was beginning to get into serious trouble,so you make allowances.....which makes you start venturing into conspiracy theory land. Does no one care about not travelling as a team(and other glaring faults) as we're going down the pan anyway ? The other option is that this slip shod approach is part and parcel of TW's style........We have no way of knowing ;that's the real rub.

I don't think it's an issue players travelling to away matches on their own as they do it for home matches anyway. The problem can arise when you have no pre planned meal at a local hotel to make sure everyone is fed and in the right mindset. Sometimes players cars brake down, sometimes they get stuck in traffic and sometimes (GB to WA) they're given a different meet up agenda to the rest of the team

The Manager is aware of how a lot of the fans aren’t happy with him picking Theo, but he continues to do so and it’s not going to change whilst he is here.
