But they weren't all season ticket holders

Let’s not make light of it chaps, unbelievably considering how bad we’ve been this season a lot of supporters ( season ticket holders or not ) want to go and are left frustrated. This on top of a shambles of a club and team.

Any evidence of this or do you want to name names?

The club did what they could with this one. When demand outweighs supply, there’s not much else they can do.

I guess the one alternative would have been a ballot open to everyone but this again comes with potential issues.

When we lose and get knocked out most of the 195 will be saying they wished they hadn’t bothered going!!

I’m not sure the club could have done it any other way to be honest.
As I have said previously I’m a ST holder but I don’t go to away games anymore, been there done that and worn a few t shirts over the years.

I don’t have a problem with those on the Away Travel group getting a ticket especially if they have done every single game.
I know they are fans who have missed out and they travel to every game independently in trains and cars but with only 195 tickets allocated this was always going to be the case.

The fairest way to do it would have been a ballot for all season ticket holders as stated and leave it at that. I believe it's one of the stated benefits of being a season ticket holder, ie priority for tickets.

To then state you are thrb giving preferential treatment to an unofficial group guaranteeing tickets to their season ticket holders i think is wrong. There are many season ticket holders who attend all away games.

If you want to reward loyalty that's great, implement some kind of cap system like the Engalnd supporters travel club.

Sometimes you just have to accept that it isn't to be. Like Jagger once sang "you can't always get what you want". It was never going to be easy to allocate 195 tickets amongst our fanbase. We've always had a pretty decent away following and many of whom would be looking to tick off another ground with this tie.

👍. Couldn’t agree more, most of the reaction to this saga has bordered on the hysterical, conspiracy theories abounding.
It’s on the stream, get the beers in and chill out..🍺

Only possible if away tickets were bought through Aldershot . I agree with the process ,most away tickets now are bought online so they must be able to record what's been purchased. I was lucky to get a ticket despite only going to 2 away games this season ,but I have no qualms at all considering the amount of money (like others have ) I've spent over the years I'm taking it .

Not sure it’s a case of people being babies or growing up just people venting the frustration which if they feel strongly about it they have every right to do so.

People obviously aren’t happy with the way the club is going and communicating and engaging with the fans needs to be better, altough the club did communicate what their intentions were on this issue.
I’m sure you appreciate this especially in the line of work your in.

Perhaps you can arrange to give your ticket to someone who didn't have one so they can watch the second half Image
