Brilliant spell down left hand side for around 15minutes in the second to go 2-1 up. That intensity and prowess is what we've been lacking all season. Woodhouse brilliant in the middle..

Well done to all involved at the club to get the game on, and a huge thank you to the referee for doing the early inspection. Well done.

Brilliant result and particularly happy for Josh Barrett.

Still a long way to go this season so need to back it up with a win on Tuesday to start to put a run together.

Well done Shots

The support was fantastic and the players rose to it

I was very surprised at the attendance bearing in mind our league position and the is it on is it off situation.

The fanbase is the clubs biggest asset by far. Much younger crowd too.

I was convinced our first was an OG, and our thirs was 2 yards offside in the build up, but happy to accept given the blatant foul on Woodhouse in the build up to their second goal.

So much to unpick from that, but to be honest when you're in the bottom 4, the only thing that matters is the result and we picked up 3 points so we'll done.

PS. Hargreaves was fantastic.

Totally support Rob and Hugo on the argument with the fan, the supporter giving the abuse to Mullins was way out of line. Even the fans in the north stand turned on him and told him to be quiet

It was absolutely rocking second half, there was an announcement to request the crowd calm down
I didn’t catch the announcement, it was drowned out by noise. Seriously, was it a request to calm down.? I can’t believe that .
Couldn’t catch it all either but was something along the lines of asking supporters to tone down the celebration.
Whoever was saying that over the tannoy needs to take a good look at himself. He obviously isn’t a football fan, he seems oblivious to our current position & he seems ignorant as to what being a shots fan is all about.
:D In my humble opinion..Just saying

That was one of the most raucous atmospheres I can remember on the east bank, it is strange that when we have a slightly smaller crowd it can be rocking in there more so than the really big crowds. It is the more committed supporters and fewer neutrals who kill the atmosphere. Weirdly Bromley at home last season was similar.

Obviously emotions are running high at the moment but it seemed to channel into support for the team in the second half once we could see the effort going in.

To the earlier poster yes there was a message over the tannoy to tone down celebrations, after the second goal.

Let’s back this up in a huge game midweek.

Agree

Dewhurst and Hargreaves were both outstanding

Cam seems to perform better without Theo alongside him

Today proves we do not NEED Jnr TW

The health and safety manager comes across as an absolute clown! And you can NEVER hear his announcements properly…

Let people enjoy themselves when celebrating a goal, especially at the moment!

Aldershot wrote: Sat Feb 22, 2025 5:38 pm Hugo on his post-match interview said he was glad Mullins shoved it down a supporters throat who was shouting in the North Stand. Rob Worrall agreed and then said something along the lines off "we'll probably cut this part out but I agree and I flipped the bird at him". Why ruin a fantastic result with yet more digs at the supporters from the management team? Also I appreciate the fact we have radio commentaries and I can't imagine how difficult it must be to do but surely Rob doesn't need to be sucking up to the board and management team all the time?
Sorry, but if this was the “supporter” that could be heard in the North/East stand, he doesn’t deserve defending. The bloke was an absolute idiot the way he was going on. Don’t cry about management sticking up for their players facing that level of abuse & why you say this is having a dig at supporters is a bit bewildering.

If it was Craig doing the message I can only presume that the tone he was talking about was about swearing. I'm sure if Craig had his way he'd be geeing up the Shots faithful over the tannoy every few minutes.

No. It was the same voice that does the pathetic and pointless health and safety announcement just before kick off.
