Apparently you only won your ticket if you picked up with the words "Mr Azeem is a genius and I promise to never mention anything about the ground development again"

I declined my ticket and it has gone back into the ballot I assume. I barely have enough enthusiasm for the home games with the current fare on offer.

Fayre enough!

What was the gem I saw on here recently? Yes, "root 1 football". A much more subtle one was "Azeem took over the reigns".

I wonder, is there a name for this ... when a homophone is substituted for an intended word?

Apologies to those who think Shotsweb should be strictly limited to discussion of Shots football matters. I just think that those discussions often throw up general issues that may be of wider interest to at least some of us.

How many is a few please ?
No way the supporters club travel should get preference over season ticket holders

I'm pretty sure the 'rule' was that they had to be season ticket holders as well as regular attenders

It's nothing to do with the Supporters Club, this is a fans run "Away Travel Group". Generally these people go to every game some for 30- 40 even 50 years and in my view as season ticket holders deserve first dibs.

Indeed it was/is. Unfortunately, people express critical opinions without bothering to look at the facts.

You know what they say about opinions

Apparently the second ballot is being chosen 'at random'

No just seems unfair that they would get tickets above season ticket holders and others who do go regulary
