And if he gets us to Wembley it wouldn't surprise me if a few of them start knocking on the door.
Really ? after lets say, a pretty poor first half of the season, we now have picked it up a bit,i can not see getting us to Wembley will get people knocking on the chairmans door to have a talk with TW. being in a strong play off position or fighting for automatic promotion, then maybe

Congrats on trying to find negatives out of getting to Wembley... which as yet, we are not!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
Logic has no place in being a Shots supporter!

I think he'd be unlikely to relocate for some of the bigger clubs like Oldham, Hartlepool or York. And all of the southern clubs in the division would be a backwards or sidewise move for him.

He also doesn't strike me as the type of manager that Football League clubs would be lining up for. Aldershot is the biggest managerial job he's had, and he's not a 'new age' coach that seem to be more popular in the EFL.
Climbing the ladder is what happens in football and work in general. I would hope Tommy to want to get Aldershot promoted then the offers may be difficult to refuse.

However I hope he stays from a Shotsfan selfish point of view.

The attitude of fans may influence any decision he may make.

The club should be seen as a stepping stone for players and even managers/coaching staff to progress.

We wouldn't attract signings if we couldn't offer possible career progress.

We'll also attract a few end of career players as a last payday, like 'Moody' 'Webb' and 'Barnard''

Some of those will work out, some will be meh and some will become Shots legends.
144ish different grounds just watching the Shots.

I believe so. Some say bottom 8. Azeem must love him as whilst he says he wants us in the league we definitely have a smaller budget than most. TW has done in raising money through sales and cup runs. It's his stubbornness and the continued selection of his son which I feel let's him down.
Ultimately, I don't believe we should stand in the way of anyone who wants to move on.

Tommy has already proved mate if he wants to go he'll go . Just imagine Theo in the high end of EFL2 might make him stand out in a better lge

Tommy is our best manager for a long time,it's just... that lets him down. Tommy could certainly manage at a higher level but he can't take Theo with him, which will hold him back. Tommy is still young at 53 so maybe his chance will come in 10 years or so when Theo has retired.Unfortunately, because of this blind spot Tommy's time with us will be curtailed.

I think most will agree that the last 2 seasons have seen us play better football, seen better players (on the whole) and seen us progress more in some of these tournaments where historically we have been poor.

For me Tommy has done a really good job on most levels and certainly has made us a better club to watch.

The only area I see where he can let himself down is with his stubbornness around some of his decisions. Jordi and Widd Jr being the most obvious.

However we cannot deny that the FA Cup run last year and the Trophy journey so far this season along with relatively successful league perforances have given us more to talk about and enjoy than we have had for a long while.

Agree with this, if we can offer progression that makes us an attractive proposition to up coming players and managers, it's natural, the majority of us in life want to move up the ranks in jobs and earn more money, football is no different. Out of the players at the end of their career who come, you get some duds, but their experience in the dressing room around younger players is invaluable.
