Right, I've got a screenshot in the Pictures folder on my PC and I've got my phone linked to the PC but there's no obvious way to upload the screenshot. The Image button above expects a url not a local file on the PC.
PhoneLink allows you to upload photos from the phone gallery onto the PC but not to download picture files from the PC to the phone. And the problem of getting it into shotsweb would remain.
I can't copy and paste from the clipboard for some reason as paste doesn't seem to work when sharing screens. Don't ask me why.

Thanks to Old Bob for a screenshot. Can others reply here if they are seeing the issue please.
Please state your browser of choice and version.
I cant recreate the issue here on any of my computers; and have tested using Chrome as well (no issue found)

FYI all - there was a separate issue between 10am and 10.45am today - which we resolved with the hosting company.
Its possible that the process of cleardown/restart there, might have helped with this issue. Fingers crossed.

And problem persists for me too ... with Chrome on Windows 10.

I have no problem using Edge, but the last thing I want to do is to default to Edge. Not good for my mental health.

I am posting this now, and cant see any errors
Windows 11, 64 bit. Chrome v133
Sorry guys - I don't have much else I can suggest other than use another browser, or try a Chrome upgrade.

Idea: Do you have any chrome anti-virus add-ons, or other such tools?

I have uBlock Origin. It is peculiarly useless. I have tried to remove it in the past but Windows won't let me.

It would be interesting to hear from northcampshot and lowerbourneshot. Maybe they have the same or similar?

I could well believe that uBlock or other ad-blocking/script-blocking tools are the problem

I'm using the same version of chrome v133, 64 bit, chrome tells me its up to date. Using Windows 11

Not aware of any adblocker that is switched on.

All a bit odd really.

uBlock has been in use almost as long as I have been using Shotsweb and has not caused any issues in that time.

Worth posting that I think this (very annoying at the time) problem has resolved itself.

This is very strongly suggestive of a automatic update (maybe Windows, maybe Chrome) that hadn't beeen properly tested and debugged and was foisted on the unsuspecting citizenry with the usual Big Tech arrogance of "F*ck 'em, if there's anything wrong with it, we'll find out soon enough from the complaints".

Glad to hear it has resolved. As you say, seemed to be a problem limited to a very few of you, and nothing we could help with at this end in Shotsweb Towers....
