Current Met Office forecast for Aldershot on Sat is overcast, about 7 x Degrees and a 10-30% chance of rain. This could change of course.

I've got a couple of inches to show off tonight..

This post reminds of one of those outtake programmes you get on the tv now & again.

The one I remember was when A female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked, 'So Bob, where's that eight inches you promised me last night?' Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew did too, because they were laughing so hard.

My colleague about 20 years ago came out with a good one when a lady said to him on a very hot day that it would be good to have a nice swim and his reply was yes I could do with a good length

Sorry it was a question can I collect or does it roll on ? I'd rather collect as it is a considerable amount . I'll have to ask this afternoon . Champagne or half a bitter later decisions ....
