I made a point about the high cost of watching ATFC in another thread. On reflection, the club must be suffering the same financial pressures as many other businesses after the hike in employer's NI. Factor in all the above inflation increase in energy prices and I suppose high ticket prices are the price we all have to pay (or not).

And our government claims their number one priority is growth.
The hike in employers NI is not due to come in until the start of the 2025/26 tax year.
Jesus. It'll be £30 a ticket next season then.

I'm sure there'll be an early bird option available up to about 12 days before...

Just want to see Jenkins back playing, a new forward and maybe two other signings ….. Don’t want much do I?
Can't disagree with this, failing a new forward would like to see a fit bray start playing the tolaj role from last season. Will be gutted if Maghoma starts tonight.

You say it in slightly jest but sadly I doubt whether many (if any) football clubs will be able to hold prices next year, I would imagine most clubs will need to add a pound or two to cover the increased wage bill
The old saying goes "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you will never please all the people all the time." In fact sometimes it seems impossible to even please some of the people any of the time

2 changes for us.

Maghoma for the injured Ellison and Frost for the suspended Henry.

Has the club ever given an update on Jenkins? Don't remember ever seeing any information about his injury. He just disappeared. Maghoma starts and our main goal threat suspended. I've got a bad feeling about tonight. Hope I'm wrong

How does Maghoma waltz straight back in - like our front 3 but concerned we will ship a few - if I was Byrd I’d be frustrated at being overlooked for a guy who has been centric to goals conceded in recent weeks!
