I went to see a UB40 tribute act called ‘WD40’ last night.

They were a bit rusty at first but got better as the evening went

When I was a kid, we bought a dog from a blacksmith…

As soon as we got home he made a bolt for the door!

Went to the cinema last night and the bloke in front of me had his dog with him. I noticed the dog was engrossed with the film.
At the end I said to the bloke 'your dog seems to really enjoy the film' . The bloke said 'yes I was surprised as he hated the book'

I got a job in the cloakroom of the Yvonne Arnaud theatre in the cloakroom. I left after a couple of days as I just couldn’t get the hang of what I needed to do.

Some important news for electric car users. I learned today that, if you break down in an electric car, you can still use the AA…

But if you break down in a small electric car, you have to use the AAA!

Shame nothing is built in the UK anymore.

I recently asked the local vicar, a keen gardener, if he knew of a way to prevent my salad herbs being eaten by slugs and other creatures. He said, "Lettuce spray!"

I found a bottle on the beach today and when I rubbed it a genie appeared.

He was a bit mean though and only offered me one wish so I said, "I just want to be happy."

Now I'm living in a cottage with 6 dwarves and working in a mine!
The old saying goes "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you will never please all the people all the time." In fact sometimes it seems impossible to even please some of the people any of the time
