Absolutely outstanding win. Great to have James Henry back on form - he’s a class act. Very well done to Tommy, staff and players.

What a second half performance that was
and Richard Walden puts the Shots 1-0 up against Man Utd

Barrett and Henry are natural goalscorers. Frost is better on the right. Two young defenders
are class better with Ellison inbetween them.

Well done all involved, we are on a great run of form, shame about the dropped points on Saturday as we would really be amongst it with a game in hand on every one above us, bar Sutton and Dale.
To be 90 mins from Wembley and now comfortably mid table, I would have happily have taken that 5 weeks ago.

Thought we played very well.
Anderson was impressive, including one defence splitting pass at the end of the first half and he was generally always looking to get involved.
Took a while for Ryan Jones to get on the ball, but once he did we always looked dangerous with his quick feet.
Defence was very solid in the 2nd half, never looked like letting Wealdstone back into it.
7 points off the play-offs, with those in 6-8th all in dire form. Realistically we need to win at Rochdale (who lost 4-0 at home tonight) on Saturday. Making the play offs is improbable, but stranger things have happened...

I think that second half was the best 45 minutes the Shots have produced this season. All the more creditable after conceding an early goal and with such a big injury list - some of our squad have had an awful lot of games recently. So credit to the Management for recruiting a larger squad this season. The win tonight might mean TW can rotate the squad at Rochdale.
I don't think Wealdstone were poor - Aldershot made them look average. The Stones have been on a good run themselves and have some useful players in their squad - including 5 loanees from bigger clubs.

Good win and much needed, I'm not going to get too caried away as both Ebsfleet and Wealdstone are both very poor teams. James Henry can make a difference, hopefully he is back up and running again now.
