I'll be surprised if theo and Tommy both don't get sent off tonight, you can almost sense it. The excuse will be "he was being mean to my baby boy"
JB looks off it it tonight (although at time of writing this he's just had our best chance)
IF we win tonight I'll be happy as need the points, on the otherside Tommy will get more time.

Shots looking the more purposeful of the two teams but struggling to create a clear cut chance

Re: Southend Away (Matchday thread)
0-0 will be a ‘great’ result at a big club, tough place to go and against a very good team…

Southend surely can't be as bad in the second half as they have in the first 45 .....

Re: Southend Away (Matchday thread)
it's the usual performance isn't it? Haven't conceded yet so that's good, but no real shape or purpose going forward. Looked a mess at the back for 10 minutes but settled down now. Barrett's not looking for anyone, Corbett's struggling to get into the game, Frost anonymous until that counter. Pitch seems bad. Doing okay, there's a win to be had here but who knows if they'll find a way to create chances.

With Jones, I remember Glover used to get a barrel load of ‘directions’ (very close to abuse) from TW. Wonder if new Ryan is subjected to the same ‘encouragement’?

Morecambe pitch is shocking!

Not a lot between the two teams imo, both are poor in front of goal. Reckon we might see Barrett subbed for the West Ham loan 2nd half.

Theo made a few decent passes in the first half, although I realise posting a positive thing he has done for a wee bit of balance may upset those who seem to be obsessed with the Geezer.
