Mancheater City
So glad the red and blue team beat Mancheater City, all we need now is for them to be given an appropriate penalty for cheating.
But we all know this will not happen.

Re: Mancheater City
About time the rules were modified. The goal keeper had a few fingers over the line and some say he should have a red card, what nonsence it would have ruined the game. For serious handling( the whole body) right outside the box a penalty would be more appropriate. But yes red card for foul play. At least on this occasion full marks to VAR.

It is a red card. He didn't deliberately cheat though. Much like Moss didn't deliberately injure your player.Charles Dickens wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 11:10 am About time the rules were modified. Re: Mancheater City
I understand that that action taken by the CP goalkeeper is “not necessarily a red card”. (looking at FA rules)

Re: Mancheater City
For me it's a red card. If he doesn't handball it then Haaland will poke the ball past him. Clearly not worthy of a free kick these days

In your biased view that thug didn’t deliberately injure our lad……I suspect he knows different.Card Sharp wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 11:39 amIt is a red card. He didn't deliberately cheat though. 1. Moss went in high so it was 100% deliberate.Card Sharp wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 11:39 amIt is a red card. He didn't deliberately cheat though. 2. Theo was walloped by Beautyman so he didn't cheat, but the ref called if wrong for the red so maybe direct your bitterness his way.
3. You still bottled the game after singing Wembley songs waaaayyy too soon.
4. You then celebrated beating our (mostly) reserves like you'd won the league.
Now crawl back and try to stop being so obsessed by us.

Re: Mancheater City
Is it too late for John Granville to appeal his “Red” from about 1991 where the momentum of his save took him outside the area? I am glad Palace won, but I do rather think that they got lucky that there was no sanction.Peter macdonald wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 12:57 pmI’m pleased palace won but I agree with you Josh but unfortunately the cup final would have ended there and then
Re: Mancheater City
Maybe that's why var team and or ref thought "stuff it".Peter macdonald wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 12:57 pmI’m pleased palace won but I agree with you Josh but unfortunately the cup final would have ended there and then

Re: Mancheater City
Wow, not that a Woking player has EVER tried to con officials, eh? If it cost you the game, how do you explain going ahead with only 10 x players?Card Sharp wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 11:39 amIt is a red card. He didn't deliberately cheat though. It was a nasty challenge and it was right in front of me,100% deliberate,I’m not a violent person in the slightest but if I was jones I wouldn’t mind giving moss a slapping for revenge purposes
