Kwame has shown he can be effective from the bench. As for Bray, we really don't know, do we? We simply haven't seen enough of him.

Has he? Last season maybe but he's not shown anything in his loan period that would want me to sign him.

Quite agree OB. Kwame was a real handful in his time on the pitch yesterday. Won all his headers, held the ball up well against strong pressure from behind, and was instrumental in the final goal. I'd certainly think he is worth signing.

He does but there will be better out there.....It depends if the manager has the contacts to find them.

Replace "contacts to find them" with "funds to afford them".

Well he seems lost without former players that have usually been at King's Lynn or Bristol Rovers.
He said that the NL Cup was an opportunity to build relations with other clubs, I'd have thought a self proclaimed recruitment guru would already have those contacts.
Finally he needs to spend the funds he has more wisely than he has done.
Starting with not signing his son again.

Nope....I think there will be better out there that offer more and probably from the start of the game, not just a sub.

But Steve, you are subtly changing your argument from Kwame is not effective from the bench (which I think he is) to he needs to be effective from the start.

I offer you the examples of David "Supersub" Fairclough at Liverpool and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United to illustrate that there really are such players as "finishers".

Hopefully the performance that Theo put in yesterday will attract the attention of other clubs and get him the move away he deserves

Chimpster, you will know very well that I am not a Theo fan. But let's be fair. He was a prominent member not only of the team that got us to Wembley, but also played in the Final. Inadequacies or not, I think he has a right to be proud of himself. OK, you may well say that he wouldn't have got near the starting 11 yesterday with a different manager selecting the team, but then with Cam Hargreaves out and Manny Maja and Keane Anderson cup-tied, maybe he would.

For better or worse, Theo goes down in Shot's history as wearing the number 6 shirt in our first appearance and first trophy at Wembley.
