Re: Who would you keep?
you never know. If Wycombe go up I'd assume Woodhouse won't be needed in the Championship. I'd assume Will wouldn't be needed in the Championship with Saints either but as to how far they'll fall is anyone's guess. Credit to Tommy for sticking them in the team and sticking with them, they've been great.

Bit strange to assume Wycombe and Saints won’t want them

Of all the weird & wonderful opinions we see on this board, this is "a bit strange"?
I don't think either dominated the level to the point where you'd assume they'll be playing in the Championship next season (Wycombe not up I realise) but I could be wrong with my strange opinion.

Our best bet for now may be going for season long loans?

I thought Corbett played well when he came on yesterday. Added some much-needed pace. Jury is still out on next season but think there’s a player in there.

Re: Who would you keep?
yes definitely. Thought he had a very mature game, one touch passing when needed (he doesn't always do this), then some decent shots cutting in side when he'd been moved to the left.redblueuptoyou wrote: ↑Mon May 12, 2025 10:13 am I thought Corbett played well when he came on yesterday. If it takes him a year to find his feet I think you can live with that. He has been very good in the trophy games against lower level players, so we still need to see it in the National League, but I think he's done enough to get another year on the basis that, if it all clicks for him, he could be extremely good.
Re: Who would you keep?
I'd keep him for sure.
Re: Who would you keep?
I would love to see Super Luca here next season, even if only on loan, but doubt it.
Re: Who would you keep?
I presume the out of contract players have had discussions with the manager and some offered new deals, maybe Jack was hinting that he hadn't signed yet.
They're all entitled to try to find better deals.
It was great to see the team spirit yesterday, through the whole squad and backroom staff.

Re: Who would you keep?
Totaly agree, there are quite a few on here who write players off to quick(like they could do better themselves !!) some players take a bit longer to settle in, but i thought he played well when he came on,and looked liked the player we know he can be , defo keep him, don't care what the moaners think !!Silasgoldeen wrote: ↑Mon May 12, 2025 10:20 amyes definitely. Re: Who would you keep?
Would definitely keep Corbett. Thought he played well when he came on yesterday. Playing on a decent surface showed he has all the skills we need.
Hopefully, we will invest what is needed to bring our pitch up to the required standard to provide our players with the playing surface to shine.
Re: Who would you keep?
Corbett has enough about him. Good for energy and fresh legs!
Re: Who would you keep?
Corbett should have gone out on loan this season.
I wouldn't keep him.
