Then a "sod it" moment and the company of a friend's 9 year old son (who'd only been to 60 minutes of a pre-season friendly before) and a trip home to book tickets and parking. Left Farnham just before 130pm and got in the stadium at 350pm.

haha, awesome, where did you park at that late hour?

We left just after 12, parked out by Whitton (relative's flat) then snaked across the western edges of London quite quickly on various trains, but I wasn't really sure how to play it all.

One of the best decisions you've ever made, surely 😀
and Richard Walden puts the Shots 1-0 up against Man Utd

Pink Parking at the stadium.£52.50 was steep, but I'd already paid £30.99 to watch it on TNT.

Good for them
Scott Davis, Antony Charles, Kirk Hudson were in there. Someone put on Facebook that Glen Burvil was there as well
Lewis Kinsella, Stuart Udal and Mark Anderson

Cost me over £200 and I'm in Farnham, I expect people flew in and stayed overnight and spent less.

Worth every penny and a massive day out for a 9 year old at his first game.

I’m still exhausted from yesterday, what an unbelievable day, was so good to see so many people including former players there to watch us. Had a chat with a very happy Terry Brown leaving Wembley, first thing he said was that we have to keep Jack Barham.

The players were calm and near faultless, a slow first half followed by an incredible second half, 3 goals, could have been 5. Perfection.

The Army! The Army!

I will keep it short.

Stalemate first half.

Tommy changed the tactics and what a second half, could have scored at least six.Great play by the team, but Tommy Widdrington showed for all to see how lucky we are to have him as our manager.

What a party for us fans at Wembley.
