Josh Barrett Interview on BBC Surrey/Sussex

Good open interview as always from JB. Three stand out points for me:

1. The players are picking up their wembley suits midweek

2. They are staying in a hotel near Wembley the night before

3. Some of the travel logistics have been woeful this year. He didnt explain exactly what, but said they were more akin to a side 2 levels below our NL status. Given he said similar after losses at Eastleigh and Southend I struggle to imagine what we could be doing to make those short trips so awful. I can only presume the players were told to "make their own way"....

Oh dear !!! i guess because it gives them time to relax ,and only a 5 minute travel time to get to the stadium, now that will do for starters !!

Yes exactly. An obvious thing for a big Wembley final.

Spennymoor Manager explained it well. They want the spectacle of walking out at Wembley for the first time done and dusted before the Sunday final, so I assume they will do the same on the Saturday and then have the whole day to take in the atmosphere.

Yes, Josh is a top lad and is also always fully on par with the fans and their importance. He is refreshingly open and straightforward and by far the most talented in the squad (Tetek close second.)
