I'm quite prepared to acknowledge that running a football club is much harder than any of us can imagine, but it seems like sometimes the people who get into these positions of power have no sense of how to do a lot of things properly. you can't have a captain of 7 years standing just have no idea what's going on, either for himself, the takeover or the direction of the club more broadly.

We had Dagenham & Redbridge the other week bringing in an Egyptian youtuber who then turned out not to have any money. Greg Olley talks about new owners coming in and talking to the team about the future before they've taken over. Absolute clown show.

Unbelievable what has gone on there and unusual and refreshing to a player to give such an emotional interview.

Reminds me of a recent interview with the captain of Bristol Rovers who said they’re going down because, among other things, the team aren’t fit enough and haven’t worked hard enough!

Seems to be a reoccurring theme with gaitsead season after season.. Latest backer/bidder pulled out. Club say next seasons participation is doubtful.

We can be thankful for lower league scrap and wembley maybe..
