Supporters Club Bowling and Awards Night
Supporters Club Bowling and Awards Night
A big thank you to our members for a fantastic evening at the Superbowl in the Westgate Centre and the EBB lounge.
Over 80 Supporters Club members, along with all the players and staff came to the awards night to see who won the Trophy’s as voted for by our members . Along with certificates, some for fun, some more serious as voted for by the players themselves .
Previously there had been some competition at the Superbowl as a few of the players showed some good skills to boost their teams points !
Lots of fun, laughs , loads of photographs , autographs and everyone mixing which was super to see .
The caterers had laid on a good spread at the lounge which was gratefully received by all, along with a few drinks
Both the Mr Azeem and the Tommy Widdrington spoke and Tommy at length .
It was also good to see the injured players in attendance and able to be a part of the events.
So again THANK YOU to all that came and made it such a great success. Your support is enormously appreciated .

Re: Supporters Club Bowling and Awards Night
Some things that Shahid mentioned last night:
Club were lied to several times by the Barnet Chairman over our reduced ticket allocation
Announcement on season ticket prices for 2025/26 season will be made next Tuesday
Club have a real problem with the access to the away turnstiles and are seriously considering moving the away section to the Slab and South Stand next season. No details about the actual problems or change in circumstances was given.
Reaching the Trophy final has been a boost not only for the Club but for the town itself

And "is the away end big enough" moans ... seriously just how would this work with the only access being from the High Street for both home and away fans?A.T.F.C 92 wrote: ↑Fri May 02, 2025 10:40 pmIt's time for a "Save the Slab" campaign thenWeybourne Shot wrote: ↑Fri May 02, 2025 6:27 pm Some things that Shahid mentioned last night:

Re: Supporters Club Bowling and Awards Night
Very easily I would imagine. Being nice to other fans would be a great start. It might even start a trend with all supporters.

Re: Supporters Club Bowling and Awards Night
Will be difficult to police however especially when larger away followings are expected. And just how much the away capacity would be reduced remains to be seen. If it's significant then the move would make no sense whatsoever. Surely it's better to do the necessary work to improve the existing access from Redan Hill than to lose out on away supporters revenue.
