How Many Shots To Wembley

Post by Noringgoes »

So, how many do we think we will take ?

Already 6 mates who don't attend, but used to when we were at school and always want them to do well have asked me to get them tickets.

I am thinking around 17,000

That seems extremely optimistic to me

If it gets into 5 figures, I would be very (pleasantly) surprised

Just checked bottom tier capacity is 34,000 so 17,000 would fill the entire bottom tier at one end of the stadium, would look amazing if we could
and Richard Walden puts the Shots 1-0 up against Man Utd

The answer is I guess we don't really know as it's never happened, expect ticket sales to fly at first then we'll have a better idea.

Why would we want to be at one end?
Better to be on the halfway line

I was thinking between 12 and 14k but might be optimistic. How many went to Stoke?

5,000 went to West Brom so this game will double that, but its more local (easy daily travel) so I'd say we'd likely treble the West Brom attendance.
So my guess would be 15,000.

What do you think the overall attendance for the day will be? 24k?

Remember there will be supporters from 4 teams there on the day. One ticket one seat both games

I would say it’s almost impossible to predict, anything from 7 to 15k

does that mean plenty of seats to choose from on the day I wonder or will we all be penned into as small an area as possible? Like a bit of freedom of movement myself.

Usually supporters have from behind the goal around towards the halfway line, but not all the way to it, pitchside, when the numbers are not high.
I usually go as a neutral and it’s a fantastic day out and great value for money ticket wise. Food and drink is very costly however. Neutrals go in the second tier either side of the royal box.
