Just glad it didn't go to pens. Jaskalainnen would've been a tough ask.

Could not give a monkey's about how aggrieved Woking are. Aldershot won and that is all that matters. Well done to the football club everything was spot on. I don't normally back the Chairmen he got this right. Fair play.
East Bank was fantastic today you would have thought there was 30000 there not 7.
Well done Aldershot you done what was needed I expect at least 20000 at wembley if not more.
Thank you Aldershot a great day out and a good drink.

Well we’ve finally got there been going since 1967 and wondered if I’d ever see the Shots at Wembley, so thank you to the manager staff and squad of ATFC.
A very tense affair with quite a few incidents I did wonder when Frosty went up to take the pen, he’s been immense for us this season but hadn’t started the game very well and was maybe carrying an injury with his knee he just didn’t look confident to me and their keeper is a good stopper and so it happened a good save but easy height for the keeper.

I won’t comment on the sending off as didn’t see it but if Beautyman did raise an elbow then he has himself to blame even if Junior did make a meal of it so won’t condemn our own player for it loads of players do the same thing.

Great clipped ball for Barhams goal from Ryan Jones who was superb I thought today along with Barrett they can both be match winners though nothing quite came off for Josh today, back three were immense against that big lump. Let’s enjoy this moment and look forward to a great day out win or lose at Wembley.

Tues will certainly be an after the lords mare show against a Boston side who need the win, let’s hope Tommy puts a decent eleven out but not risk any players who are carrying any knocks. Up The Shots.

Great to be at Wembley but also a sour taste. That was embarrassing from Theo and what makes it worse he will probably think it’s job done.

That is my last shots game for 6 months as I have business with his majesty overseas, deploying on Monday in the early hours.

Great dogged performance from the shots but I thought Woking were playing for pens from the first minute and set up to defend. They showed very little ambition and got what they deserved. One of the poorest sides to visit the rec this season.

For the shots woodhouse and Hargreaves were excellent and R Jones showed his quality towards the end

We all have our days in the sun (Eventually) and today was ours: my Shots shirt and flag is at the bottom of my Bergen.

Get over it, how many times have we been done by play acting, beautyman was hustling and bustling and to me looks like he backed into Theo hitting him with his shoulder but the video does not show what the ref was seeing he may have lifted his elbow.

There is another certainty in life. That Woking will moan about stewarding/ticketing/policing etc etc after they lose. Happens every time and they’re at it again.

How many times have teams come to the EBB, nicked a goal and wasted time blatantly until the final whistle? Wealdstone got a dodgy pen off us. Not condoning a bit of acting but sometimes the dark arts are the difference between winning and losing, especially in close games like this. 6000 shots fans just had one of the best days of their lives and maybe it doesn't happen without that incident. Certainly not that dramatically. The world is full of injustice and sometimes it's better to be the ones dishing out rather than taking. I'm sure there'll be some karma at some point but it's all part of the game. Honestly I don't know if I even believe what I'm typing but I'm surprised people are discussing this way.

It must kill them inside knowing we reformed and still played in the Football League before them  Nothing sweeter than beating them to book our place at Wembley for the first time in the history of either Aldershot FC or Aldershot Town FC. Thanks Woking! You'll forever be non-league...

A lot of emotional people in that ground at the end.

Our dads, grandads, and beyond, tried but never achieved what those players and club officials did for us today.

Congratulations to everyone at the club and fair play to Spennymoor. Underestimate them and the silver goes north, no question.

He's not alone. The Hampshire Chronicle described it as the 'fiestiest derby in English football'
