Not sure why Laing was selected after his first half performance at Wealdstone. Looks well off it.

Perhaps this is wake up call the players, manager and some supporters who were thinking we could get into the play-offs needed.

In mitigation, they’ve had a pretty brutal run of fixtures during which time they’ve put together a great run of results. It had to end sometime and it’s perhaps no surprise that it’s happening on another long trip up north.

We've certainly been on a good run recently and secured our National League place. Play offs were a pipe dream.
