Widds Jr.
Re: Widds Jr.
Starting a thread about Theo asking people to stop talking about him

Although a Wembley winner would certainly be welcome it wouldn't change my opinion on him or Tommy.

Re: Widds Jr.
It's the principle of the thing.
Every manager has favourites although sometimes these are players who set a good example e.g. Jordan Henderson, who has now persuaded a fifth England manager to pick him because of his good attitude.
The difference is the suspicion. There are people on here, who I know personally and can confirm they are entirely sane, who think that Theo's injury two weeks ago was faked and that Tommy deliberately engineers situations to justify Theo being included in the starting line-up. No-one fully trusts our manager when it comes to his son. It's a horrible atmosphere but NOT caused by the fans, caused by Tommy.

Re: Widds Jr.
Sorry according to Tommy Theo was lucky not to have had a break . Yet a week later playing golf . They both think we the fans are stupid. Let's hope Tommy gets an offer and they are gone in the summer . His comment yesterday about being in the side on merit is feckin laughable.Marcus ex W.Midlands Shot wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 2:02 pm It's the principle of the thing.

Its also amazing that Maja is available to be on the bench or start while his injury
miraclously just dissappears but when daddy wants him back Maja is amazingley
unavailable. He will now start Tues and every game till his next ban or outburst.

Re: Widds Jr.
It's quite simple for me: he's a National League South player. No other manager has signed him and wouldn't surprise me if he has divided the dressing room.
Players have been played out of position to accommodate him and he certainly finds it easier to get back into the team than say Johnny Stuttle.
He probably will start against Woking but with one goal for us so far, I wouldn't be banking on him to score the winner.
Marvin Morgan was transfer listed for his outburst but obviously the club feel he did nothing wrong two weeks ago.
Miraculous recovery but this blatant nepotism is quite frankly disgusting.

I have to ask why does his father put him in this position. Even the most loyal club members know he is not good enough. Can't run, can't head when under pressure can't pass, he is not good enough.
Yesterday our tactic was just a big ball over the top, almost as if to get junior on so he plays in the semi and possible final at wembley. Who knows. We have had some crAzy decisions this season almost as if the instruction after the first few games was back off. Strange season.

Very well put. Annoys me that we’re all being taken for mugs.Josh wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 2:15 pm It's quite simple for me: he's a National League South player. No other manager has signed him and wouldn't surprise me if he has divided the dressing room.

Because obviously no chairman hasn't said no to Tommy ever in negotiations.Rba wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 2:47 pm I have to ask why does his father put him in this position. The Chairman should have intervened and made a statement on behalf of the Club and then dealt with Widds Jr from the Board level

Well put Josh, couldn't agree more. The Widdringtons have become a bit of problem for us now in my view, neither are particularly good and we'd be better off without both of them.Josh wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 2:15 pm It's quite simple for me: he's a National League South player. Re: Widds Jr.
"Score the winner in the Woking game and then at Wembley"' The only possible way this could happen is if they were own goals, as he only goes sideways and backwards.
