I’ll take a punt on Widdler Jr starting in centre mid.

Assuming that’s R Jones I’d agree with that selection. Sounds like no Tetek again though sadly.

I am hoping he has got a 2 game ban so we can get 6 points this week.

I think he's probably still available. I'm not sure on the exact number of games but it's something like 10 bookings up to 28 games for a ban before the booking threshold rises again? Pretty sure he's past that now.

the back three isn't the issue, I don't think we're dropping Armitage or Scott. I'd assume the following depending on whether Henry's fit or not and based on the premise that you can't leave Ryan Jones out anymore and AJ isn't much use on the right atm.

Dewhurst
Armitage Woodhouse Scott
Frost Widdrington Hargreaves R Jones
Barrett Corbett (Henry)

Not convinced by Armitage, and we are conceding 2 goals most games, so the defence should be under the microscope, but I agree I can't see any changes.

Really need to move Frost into the middle for that useless roundabout in the number 6 shirt and get Ryan Jones bombing up the left.

Won't happen though

And people rave about Harfield yet he played in a defence that conceded goals for fun last season.

Don’t kid yourself - the same 11 barring injuries or suspensions as Southend will be played.

You heard TW banging on about how great we were!

Theo has been shown yellows against Forest Green (H), Halifax (A), Braintree (A), Tamworth (A), Barnet (H) followed by a one match ban for 5 yellows. Since he has been shown yellows against Fylde (A), Eastleigh (H), Wealdstone (H), Oldham (A) and Southend (A) taking him to 10 and a 2 game ban, the threshold for 10 yellows is 37 games. The only way he could have avoided a ban is if one of the yellows was overturned on appeal if it was a mistaken identity.

I'm confident if we show the commitment as we did at Southend, we can grind out a result. Hopefully the pitch will be ok and the Strays visit is a fruitful occasion.

Thank you Wanderer. I didn't know it was as much as 37 games for the 10 booking cut off. Good to know!
