I go to watch Ringwood fair bit as its my nearest club. You are right Josh it is a lovely pitch, maybe see you there sometime particularly if we go down as I won't be making the trip up to watch Aldershot that often.
I was ground hopping there as live in Southampton and a friend of mine follows Stoneham. Got a good set up down there and impressed by the pitch.
Do they play at Stoneham Lane football complex? If they do then the pitch looks like it’s an artificial one, not grass. Using Google Earth the main pitch and two adjacent pitches don’t look the right colour for natural grass.
Game was at Ringwood on Tuesday and grass. Stoneham ( next door to Eastleigh) is AstroTurf.

Ringwood play at Long Lane which is a Community Hub. There is a 3G pitch as part of the complex but Ringwood Town play on the grass pitch.

What a shambles yet again. The lack of maintenance on what used to be such a good pitch is shameful.

I'm sure the money made from the NL cup/ reading youths games still wouldn't even come near to what it would to cost to repair the pitch properly the state it's in now so was it all worth it for some dosh?

The chairman should of said nope to reading and told them go play their games locally at Maidenhead or used the 4g at Slough.

The NL cup he should of pulled out at the start just like plenty of other clubs did and had done with it.

Unless we go on and win this cup and collect the winners funds from it then it was a complete waste of time entering and we destroyed our once proud pitch for the points above ^.

Only one true person at fault for all this mess and the groundsmen got a shitty deal at the end of it trying to keep this pitch alive with multiple games a week in the middle of winter and it hasn't worked out well.

Hope the few quid was worth it for these competitions, now we're looking at 3 games in the matter of weeks without income 👍

If tomorrow gets called off then straight away the club should start looking for plan B starting with Tuesday game vs Solihull and get it sorted early as possible.
Start getting on the phone to see who might lend us their ground for the time being. Try Farnborough and if they say no then logically with not ruining a grass pitch somewhere else maybe try Marc white to see if we could use the 4g at meadow bank it's NL graded and not much difference in travel then the people who suggested reading.
Some suggested Alton but don't think they can have a NL game with it not being graded for that level🤷‍♂️.
We really need to start looking for plan B, Just like Halifax did last season. Even Gateshead had changed venues at last minute this season..so it can be done.

Sadly I agree, probably lack of money as usual, why is this football club always skint? 1990 1992 2013 now, will it ever end?

Thank you Azeem and Co for allowing our club to rot and become a laughing stock
This isn't aimed at you Rob so please don't take it such but....

The fans haven't exactly helped much.

Where's the will to come together and get ourselves organised to do something positive and achieve what everyone wants?

There's a lot of moaning and shouting but not a lot of activity.

To put some perspective on it, I do wonder if no matter how limiting the amount of games could have been, whether we would have still had the same problem due primarily to the drain problem. Yes it's been wet but what real consequences did the extra games make as opposed to the rain and collapsed drain which isn't the clubs fault.

With the current situation and the high likelihood of more wet weather in the coming weeks, I sincerely hope the club has a Plan B stadium lined up.

Does anyone know if Farnborough is up to NLP standards? I imagine it is, but then again they may have their own challenges, or no interest in sharing.

After that we would be travelling a distance. Can't see Woking ever being an option, or Reading ever being affordable, so maybe Slough's 3G is the next best option?

Any other realistic options?

It’s not the club’s fault the drain collapsed but they did know about it and chose not to invest in repairing, despite the windfall last season.

A collapsed drain is a maintenance issue. This should have been picked up before it collapsed. Full time professional club??

They certainly won't have helped.
In hindsight, could the club perhaps have had been able to check the drains in some way? That's not a dig as the blockage could have been completely untraceable. But if there's a way of checking them, perhaps it could become a regular thing? If one has gone maybe others are vulnerable.
