Brilliant and assuring post, EV.EV wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 8:36 pm Good evening, the Supporters Club have regular meetings but we have the opportunity to meet with members of the Club and minutes will be made available afterwards.
I will be attending as will other committee members.
Personally I always read the message board and twitter, instagram and regularly meet fans at every home and away game , as yes I go to every game (no I don’t have a ticket for Sittingbourne !).
I am fully aware of how fans feel and do/will always communicate this to the committee .
Be assured you have a voice and you DO matter, you ARE the club .
We are independent and our only concern is to do the best for our members and Aldershot Towns fans as a whole .
Can you please tell Shahid that the fans are the club?!

How many years ago was it, EV?EV wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 10:29 pm Hi Florida Phil , the Supporters Club is independent and completely separate from the football club I can assure you . Those on the committee are just fans of the club , for myself for 56 years.
When it started it was with the encouragement of Mark as I recall, but that was years ago and since then there has been no connection with those at the club.
Re: ATFC Supporters Club Meeting With ATFC
Golly Florida Phil, 8 + years ago not sure exactly , but quite a while ago . I am always open to meeting fans if they want a chat and gain more information about the Supporters Club, feel free to contact me if you would like to.

Why would it be good?Ex Attendant wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 5:32 pmWould be good to hear some propaganda from those two, but I think they realised how ridiculous their position had became. As for better qualified supporters pulling it together I think it's too broken for that.abee wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 5:04 pmI’m not on any social media but are you able to check on the SC Facebook page and see if they announced when their last ‘regular’ meeting with the ATFC board/representatives was?HackJowarth wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 3:38 pm
Unfortunately, the ability to comment on FB was turned off. You would’ve thought an announcement on here would follow?
As an aside I think it a great pity that the two formerly regular posters that we have lost namely Richard Petty and Dr Jim (?) are not prepared to post anymore because I would be most interested in their input.
Look I don’t care if Shahid Azeem is the nicest bloke in the world, sees old ladies across the road and helps struggling bugs out of his swimming pool. This is all about whether he is the best person available to run ATFC and I don’t believe he is but would have liked to have heard an opposing view. Not replies of the ‘he’s the only game in town’ sort of response as no one is talking about buying him out but simply whether the club would be better run if Shahid stepped to one side on the executive (whilst retaining the position of non-executive chairman) and let a small number of well qualified supporters try to pull it together.
If it's ridiculous propaganda, then it isn't really missed.
Wouldn't it be more honest of you to just say good riddance?

Re: ATFC Supporters Club Meeting With ATFC
Good morning,
Three non trick questions if I may please:
1) How many members do you have?
2) I hope that your meeting with club reps went well yesterday and that at least one exec director was present.
3) I know that the SC website is down that that you are hoping that Shahid will help patch it up (I don't think personally that this was one of Brian's best ideas but we'll see) and until the website is up and running again where will you put the minutes of yesterdays meeting?
Many thanks

Finally someone says it out loud.Localshot wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 7:41 pmRBA ...Once again you are making things up with your own agenda. I would even go so far as calling you out as a liar and therefore just stirring the pot.Rba wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 7:38 pm
Graham not quite true what your saying. The good Dr does have an agenda. I met people from the club which further endorsed my negative view of them.
Richard bless him was used as a way of getting the boards points across. Bless him he finally sussed this when he was made to look the fool guy over pitch gate.
Since Richard left the employment of the club he has spoken his own mind and has given us insider views which always help. The Dr does not and never has had an agenda and your comments are out of order. Both individuals explain their positions on numerous occasions but you choose to ignore what they say.
RBA constantly fabricates things to sew unrest among supporters.
The two former posters in question have left this board but still they are defamed on here and have no chance of rebuttal.
It makes me sick.

Andrew, could you please make it three former posters?
That would please a few people.

Richard didn’t have an agenda. He always posted frankly and from a hard won knowledge base.
As for Dr. Jim, it’s less clear. In fact suggesting he did not have an agenda is possibly doing him a disservice as it would indicate uninformed intransigence. At least ascribing an agenda would suggest he’s picked a side after a series of conversations and a suitable level of reflection/analysis in good faith.

Re: ATFC Supporters Club Meeting With ATFC
Richard the day of the first postponed game smugly announced at 9am the game would be on iirc .,then it was called of he edited his post . He copped some flak then attacked a poster on here first saying what they could say and how they should address him . People bit back and he flounced . Now I have no gripe with Mr Petty at all and would welcome him back .ShotOnTarget wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 12:15 pm Richard didn’t have an agenda. Can we take this off of the board please, I'll send you a PM, let's see if you reply or just prefer snarky comments.Bangkok Banger wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 9:51 am "The two former posters in question have left this board but still they are defamed on here and have no chance of rebuttal."
