Another postponement will almost be as disaterous as another loss, as of now ( 3-30 on Wednesday) we’ve had no rain for days

Hartlepool have lost 9
Solihull have lost 13 (including 5 of the last 6)
Dagenham have lost 13 (including 4 of the last 6)

(PS. Aldershot have lost 12, including obviously 2 of the last 2, before someone says it!)

Regardless of what we think about our horrific situation or the club in general....
Its all about these next 3 matches (and arguably the Sittingbourne match wedged between).
Lets hope the pitch is ready and the team can rise to the occasion
An unusual positive post for these days on Shotsweb.

Too many negative sad posters seem to almost enjoy writing the Shots off with their constant predictions of certain relegation.

However, I suspect that most fans, the silent majority, will just get behind the Shots during these difficult times.
Ah, the old "silent majority" mantra. I've never bought into that one, ever since I first heard it.

Bloody hell, Chas, if you cannot see that relegation is NOT ONLY VERY likely but VIRTUALLY CERTAIN on current form (stretching back a year) then you are beyond help.

But hey ho, let's stay positive, eh? After all, I mean, the Titanic is UNSINKABLE innit?

If we go a goal up we don't build on it ,we'll sit back and concede eventually.

I don't think it'll be on. Currently forecast for rain all day tomorrow and to start again at 4pm on Friday through to 10am on Saturday. If it couldn't handle the light rain before the last postponement then there's no chance.
It wasn't the rain that caused the last postponement, it was the heavy down pour of snow.😄

I love the positivity from the original poster in this thread but just can’t escape the feeling it’s like the League Two relegation season or Waddock’s final one. So many parallels…

OB is simply relaying the facts of our form, which are as clear as day: we don't win enough games, which if this continues, will inevitably lead to relegation.

The "hope and faith" resides in the manager constantly telling us that "we're not that far away..." from being a very good team, and from a lot of the performances against the better teams, he's right.

But on current form we rarely beat them, and we are not even beating the supposedly weaker teams - so relegation is the most likely result from this trajectory.

Of course, IF we start winning, with 16 games left, all that can change...and therein lies the joy, of being a football fan

Home form will indeed be key especially against the teams around us. Of the other seven who appear to be destined for a relegation scrap along with us our record to date is not good….W1 D3 L4.
Ebbsfleet (H) - (A) D
Boston (H) - (A) D
Fylde (H) - (A) L
Wealdstone (H) L (A) -
Maidenhead (H) W (A) -
Braintree (H) D (A) L
D&R (H) - (A) L

Our points average of just 25% against these teams so far has to drastically improve in the six fixtures left to play. Thankfully 4 of the 6 are at home where, so far, our points average is 44%.

16 games left,almost a third of a season
Plenty of points to play for (48
24 pts should be enough
8 wins from 16..lots of permutations

We'll be fine

Just saying...

Have a nice day

Bloody freezing here
Minus 1 last night
