So, tell us what it is is that our midfield does so well?

Just watched the interview. The relaxed attitude towards us “still having 16 games left” is kind of incredible. Maybe we just all need to be as nonchalant.

All about 3-4 yards when not under pressure....I think even I could manage that.
Quite a few others couldn’t even do that tonight and gave the ball away cheaply. I just don’t get this constant same old stuff being said about the Geezer.
The same points are made every game about him, yes he shouldn’t be in the side. Others could take but banging on about it every game I fail to see what it achieves.
It's because he only gets picked because he's his son.

Contrast that with Johnny Stuttle.

The blatant nepotism stinks.

Statistically our midfield is likely to be the best at letting the opposition walk through them to score a couple (or more) goals so perhaps he has a point.

Picking up unnecessary yellow cards could also feature highly?

Number of 4 foot sideways passes completed perhaps? Most aimless light jogging around maybe?

Let's hope the next 16 are better than the last 16 then

As Tommy said at the start of the season that he has a better squad of players than last season.....The only thing we can summise from that is that it must be the manager and his coaching staff that are the issue

Indeed, we got 13 points from our last 16 games, repeat that and we’re doomed. In that 16 we’ve got Wealdstone, Maidenhead and Fylde, we’ve got to win all three of those to stand any chance.

The TW Jnr issue has had too much energy wasted on it, TW Snr isn’t going to change his mind on the issue so it’s pointless continually banging on about it.

Far more important things around the club to concern ourselves about than one individual player.
Yes the lack of minutes for Stuttle was bewildering to say the least, I thought he looked decent in the time he was on the park and was what we needed up top.

No point banging on about Stuttle if he’s no longer with us!!

Yeah one of a number of odd selection decisions the management team has continued to make.

You can say we can ignore the Theo issue but our midfield gets overrun week in and week out and it’s due to his son being in the team. Say what you like but if his name wasn’t widdrington he wouldn’t be in the national league. He’s mid 20s but plays like a veteran on his way to retirement.

We got soundly beaten on Saturday yet we make one enforced change - why not give dolaghan a go up front, why not freshen up the midfield, Jenkins was touted for a league move but continues to bench warm.

30 games is enough to see the writing is on the wall. Every game that passes make our relegation seem more certain.

I don’t care about the national league cup or the Hampshire cup particularly - our season is built around the league

3 wins in 24 is sackable whatever way you look at it - if Wealdstone win tonight we are in the relegation zone.

We’ve average a point a game which is not enough to stay up!
