Tommy's stubbornness is killing us. How on earth could he justify selecting the same team as Saturday??

Ryan Jones had made the left wingback slot his own but seems to have been frozen out. Even when he came on today, it was to replace Corbett when we would have been better off bringing him on the left and moving Frost over to the right. AJ couldn't cross a road, so how can he be the answer when we're losing? The injury to Ashley Akpan is a huge loss.

Dolaghan looks to be going the same way as Stuttle. We've been crying out for a striker to hold the ball up alongside Barham, which would make a huge difference to our ability to keep hold of the ball and move up the pitch, while allowing Barrett to play in his best position behind the strikers. But TW and his coaching team still refuse to change things.

What are the likes of Hugo and Richard doing if not challenging TW's selection? Surely they can see it?

Our next four league games are all at home which presents a great chance to get some wins together, but if TW and co keep refusing to change things up then I really struggle to see that happening. With us now having games Saturday Tuesday until April, hopefully their hands may be forced.

Is Theo banned for the next two matches? Might force their hands…

I agree with you. We've had to play two away games against arguably better opposition. Saturday was p*ss poor and whilst the result tonight wasn't great, there was some improvements.

Bottom line is, we need to win our home games, so yes, Saturday is important and that's the focus. We can all tear the team selection to pieces, Tommy's insistence on playing his son even though he is sh*t, the lack of mobility and poor performances, but Saturday is what counts now. We can't change what's happened but there is still a chance to change what's to come.

If you have the belly for it, see you at The Rec Saturday.

If you keep doing the same things then expect the same results. Changes needed and fast.

Don't forget we have to manage the poor little lambs game time. :(

Same team, same formation, same favourites playing, same timing of substitutes and get ready for the same post match interview.

I’m sure the players tried tonight but we are too lightweight, would like to see Jenkins playing at the back with Woodhouse who is also a midfielder in midfield especially if Junior is suspended 🤞 or Maja playing if matchfit, get Frost on the right instead of A Jones and please get R Jones back on the left.
But we all know Mr Stubborn knows what’s best.

N0 doubt you'll say this when we lose to Hartlepool 3 0 Saturday, we have to face it this side is just not good enough
well no, because Saturday we're at home and absolutely need to win. Jesus, we're on fire tonight aren't we?
Shame the players aren't. Can you see this lot of duds winning at least another 6 lge games?

You've really answered your own questions with your first two words "Tommy's stubbornness"

He has to accommodate his son. He also wants to pick his favourites (Aaron Jones, Josh Barrett). So that means Tyler Frost can't go CM or RWB. So sometimes he will need to play Ryan Jones and sometimes Tyler Frost at LWB. If I were Tyler I'd be looking for a move if Tommy doesn't get sacked. He is wasting his talent stuck in a position that he is trying his best at, but can't really play.

Josh Barrett seems to have believed the hype surrounding him recently and has forgotten that there are actually other players on the pitch and is now spurning so many chances. He needs a period on the bench.

None of the required changes will happen under Tommy though. He needs to go. We are in real danger of dropping into regional football.

Totally agree, some of them have pretty much proved that they aren't good enough for this league. We certainly have a manager that isn't good enough, what do you want us to do.

Not going to disagree, but it’s a bit late to tear up the script & start again. I would rather keep backing them in the faint hope that we will get over the line .. it ain’t over til it’s over remember 😏
:D In my humble opinion..Just saying

Josh isn’t a striker and as he has to play, we’ve shoehorned him up front a few times. It just feels like Tommy’s ‘starters’ and ‘finishers’ are set in stone.
