ATFC, the only full time professional FC where the players coach turns up after the supporters coach

Blimey, this sounds unprofessional:
“a number of our first teams journeys have been disrupted by traffic”
They’ve only had all day to get there so fair enough. If certain players haven’t turned up then I suggest we crack on. And can we not afford a coach?

At 1pm (ish) on Saturday I passed James Henry, Kai Corbett, Theo and Maxi Mullins, walking to the ground down that narrow lane by the church.

Couldn't believe it.

Surely all the players should travel by coach so they all get there on time and together. So unprofessional!

Happened once at Wigan, coach got there just in time for Tommy Mac to run in with the team sheet.
Apparently Tommy Mac said he knew the way and took them to the Rugby ground!

In their defence (if that’s allowed) some of our players travel from further afield and it’s more convenient or easier for them to travel independently rather than drive down to The Rec then get on a coach here. I’m pretty sure that we aren’t the only club that does that.
